It's my understanding that kids IN the daycare are usually guaranteed a slot. I would call around and see if some others have open slots - the schools should have already made their decisions by now. The hold up could be if they are trying to get additional classes approved for funding.

I think you need to realize that sending out graduation invitations is a way of celebrating a great event. So, just as you are not obligated to actually attend the graduation, you are not obligated to send a gift. Be happy that the graduates thought of you and them well on their special day.

We should call Fox 5 or WSB - these little dogs have got to be stopped!!!!

In Spring 2010, the percentage of first-time students that failed the Social Studies portion statewide was 22%. Here is the link to the report (it's a long link so you may have to copy/paste): http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/DMGetDocument.aspx/GHSGT_Brief_2010%20May%203%20FINAL%20v1.pdf?p=6CC6799F8C1371F6D9B7FE8DD0C08A8760870A4A11131E3C48C6F8846097ACEC&Type=D

If it WERE my kid, I would have been jumping up and down the FIRST time she failed the test - not a few weeks before graduation. If I felt like the test were flawed, I probably would not have brought to the school board until she failed it the SECOND time, but for the parents to wait until a few weeks before graduation to start complaining is just too little to late. I'm sure they are all disappointed, but they knew that graduation was dependent on the passing of this test.

Excuse me, stepping on my soabox...... Wow, people are shocked about their kids not being able to WALK. Listen to these parents - they are upset that their children will not be able to WALK at graduation. They're not upset because their kids failed a test, they're upset because they don't get to participate in a ceremony. Seriously, people??? Frankly, I'm not surprised. Our public educational system has been dumbed down to the point that we might as well go ahead and shut the schools down and automatically give every 5 year old a high school diploma and a graduation ceremony. We a

I'm standing behind Section 9.2.5 of the privacy agreement: "5.You will not include data you receive from us concerning a user in any advertising creative." http://www.facebook.com/#!/terms.php I'm of the belief that you're using this post to "advertise" your Facebook page. I don't care why they are moving because that's a business decision between the owner and the landlord - not my business, the question is WHERE are they moving?

I still think the government will leak them out.

I really have to get one of these since I tend to sleep through storms - I haven't heard any of the ones that have rolled through lately....

Okay, this is all YOUR fault. I googled it too and this is what I came up with.... http://inhabitat.com/watering-can-designed-for-fertilizing-plants-with-human-urine/ I don't think I will look at a home grown tomato the same way ever again.....

I will watch it because it will be a beautiful wedding. The British Monarchy is steeped with tradition and it will be nice to see how they keep tradition in place in modern society. As for the big deal - this is the future King of England getting married - it has always been a big deal when a royal gets married, only now the media runs every single detail into the ground just so they can make it sound like they have the scoop over other media outlets.

I love going to festivals and things at the parks, but under no circumstances do we participate in the free Easter egg hunts or the trick or treat village. Theses are a great service offered by the Parks Dept. and I truly appreciate the hard work, but there are a lot of folks in Paulding County that don't know how to act and I don't have enough restraint to keep my mouth shut when they misbehave. But, I encourage everyone else to participate because I keep hoping that if these people are surrounded by people who have good manners and enough restraint to keep from smacking them, maybe they wi

Regardless of whether the kids were acting that way or not, the use of profanity by a teacher is completely inappropriate. Teachers are human, but they are adults and I expect them to be able to control their tongues in front of the kids.

I love love love my iPhone!! I researched it and watched my hubby battle with his droid (which was replaced 5 times over a 2 year period) and researched it some more. I switched from T-Mobile to AT&T - I had been a T-Mobile customer since they were PowerTel many years ago. T-Mobile's customer service was always stellar and they stood behind their products 100%. So, for me to switch to AT&T which some people openly dislike, it would take a pretty spectacular product. The reception, speed, and user-friendliness of the iPhone sold me within the first few days and it hasn't changed si

That's what the officer told me at the accident, but it took a month.
