You want good seafood within a reasonably close distance - try Marietta Fish Market on Canton Highway in Kennesaw. Bay Breeze in Douglasville or Kennesaw are also pretty good. You want exceptional seafood - try Oceannaire in Atlanta, it's absolutely awesome, but it comes with a high price tag.... P.S. If the food is good, I don't care if they can speak English or not.... :-)

Here's a strange thing - TALK to him. Tell him that you've noticed that things around his yard have deteriorated over the past few months and let him know that you're concerned. Let him know that you're not trying to pry, but if he needs someone to talk to, you're there for him - you've lived next door to the guy for five years, why not take the time to become his friend? He may or may not reciprocate, but at least you will have offered.

Should employees be given time off to...

You just gave that shop a good reason not to hire a woman. Good job!! The requirement is preposterous, and I'm saying that as a working mom who chose to breastfeed. The employer assumes no risk or right in the feeding of a child, why should they be required to give a reasonable accommodation for a condition that is not considered a disability but actually just a parenting choice? What's next, a special tax credit for moms who choose to breastfeed babies? -

So if a small business, like an independent auto shop, hires a female secretary and she has a baby, this small shop (which could just be nothing more than an office, a bathroom, and work area) should be penalized for NOT having a lactation area? -
They have one kind of chicken and it contains a cajun spice. It's not hot to me, but my DH and the princess say it's too spicy for them. On my last trip there, I specifically asked if they had "mild" chicken and was told that they don't.

Never thought about it. But then again, I'm not a CEO of a big corporation so I'm not required to think.... -
A Lot Of What I Say Is Not For People Who Already Have
LisaC replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I believe you are mistaken, but we've discussed this before in a different topic. Working for another person or a big corporation is NOT a bad thing, especially if you have a career that you love. -
Bad day? Just watch this, it makes me laugh every time!!

I need ideas for a Valentine Dinner at church

Oven roasted chicken breasts with parsley potatoes and grilled asparagus. I would also serve warm rolls and a tossed salad with a vinaigrette dressing. Dessert could be red velvet cake, strawberries dipped in chocolate or a plate with an assortment of 4-5 mini-desserts. -
I know, but understand that our goal is to save money. So, in the end, if the merchants are offering a good deal, we will be all over it like white on rice!! Some merchants are going to want to use their logos or pictures because that's part of their branding process so I wouldn't want to scare them into believing that if they those, we won't print their coupons. So go get to work on those coupons!!!
-
My response is simple - just make it a good deal with easy to understand terms and it really doesn't matter, people will use them. I love coupons so bring them on!!!

Here's the not so secret info that I know about RHOA - Cynthia does get married. Kim is pregnant - Kroy is the father. Y'all probably knew this, but I don't watch the show or follow them very often, but was told this by an avid fan.

I Took A Course In E-Commerce Law, And Only Made "B"

No, I'm saying frivolous cases clog up our legal system for YEARS. Intentional infliction of emotional distress is usually only proven when a doctor can testify that psychological damage has occurred. Not when someone just gets tired of hearing it. However, if someone is being threatened, I would suggest that they contact law enforcement immediately. -
If the person knows enough about the law to know that he has a case, he could always file it himself. Unfortunately, most people who "think" they have a case really don't know - they're just so upset over their particular circumstances that they believe a lawsuit is the only answer. While you may believe something is clearly a violation of the law, an attorney has the resources to know how courts have ruled in similar cases and can tell if you have chance or not. Some attorneys will take a chance and file a case just to see if they can get a settlement out of a company or individual - more

I Took A Course In E-Commerce Law, And Only Made "B"

Intentional infliction of emotional distress is very hard to prove and is overused in the legal system in my opinion. Simply getting offended or finding a comment out of line is not necessarily considered "emotional distress." Courts often look to medical providers to substantiate claims of emotional distress because they are so hard to prove. -
Lawyers do charge a fee - that is how they support their families after all. However, there are lawyers who will openly give you advice as to what you could do and won't charge you as long as they aren't actually doing anything more than just telling you what your options are. There are also lawyers who do a lot of pro bono (free) legal work - they take the time to file a lawsuit (or defend one) for individuals who can't afford an attorney. There are also attorneys who take cases on a contingent fee basis - meaning they receive no fees unless there is a judgment or settlement in a case (but

Absolutely!! I love the North Georgia Premium Outlets - it's definitely worth the drive, especially if you can take your time to shop.

You MUST have a signed consent to run the credit check and then you can contact a third party company like e-renter.com and they can run it for you.

Do your research - we bought one of the cheap ones the day after Thanksgiving. It only took me a couple of hours to decide that it was going back to the store.

Have you tried the APple store at Lenox? Also, check the two or three AT&T vendors at Arbor Place Mall - I was there yesterday and the one by Borders had them.

A dietician once told me that she never met anyone who had gotten fat because they ate too much fruit or too many vegetables. The actual fruit is always better than juice simply because of portion size (ex: you will take in alot more calories and sugar in 8 oz of apple juice than you will in a small apple and the apple will give you a sense of feeling full better than the juice). My advice - cut back on the junk food he eats, if any, and encourage him to drink water over juices or sodas.

I would say something: "Merry Christmas!"

I highly recommend Portrait Innovations. We've used the one at the Avenues several times for the princess. They always have a single pose package that you can get for $9.95 and you get a ton of pictures, but I always end up spending more than that because the pictures turn out so well and I like getting them on CD. As for waiting 1 1/2 past an appointment time, I haven't heard of anyone having to wait like that - the most we've ever had to wait was just a few minutes past our appointment.

We LOVE our Keurig. I don't know the model number, but it is the one with the three buttons and temperature settings. We've had it for over a year and still use it everyday. We get our k-cups from Bed Bath & Beyond (best local selection) or Sams (for their big box of Caribou Coffee. I save the 20% off coupons that come in from BB&B and use those when I buy refills.
