(PLEASE) Help Me Pick One.... need your opinion

A valid point, which is why if you go with Option B, make the white an *eggshell* white rather than a 'neon' white. It's easier on the eyes, but they'll still see 'white.' -
BTW, Panda Gal, you might be interested to know that the friend who introduced my husband to me read Sonnet 116 during our vows renewal ceremony earlier this year. Knew you'd appreciate that.

If finances permit, you might look into swimming lessons for at least the five-year-old and maybe the other two, as well. I'm a firm believer in teaching 'em young - I never learned to swim and I regret it like the dickens. I think Rountree Recreation offers lessons .... As for your officiant, was it perchance TBAR?

Do the kids like those bouncey places like Jump 4 Joey? They seem to have several specials. I'm sure you have friends with pools, too. OT, how was the wedding? Did y'all get married in the woods?

Top 5 or so Best Restraunts You've Ever Been To

My mother's house. (Oh, and this is a private establishment, so she doesn't have a website.) As for restaurants, I guess I don't have a very sophisticated palate. I've eaten at some of the places other people mentioned and some of the expensive places in Atlanta and don't care if I ever go back. The sole exception (no pun intended) is the Atlanta Fish Market, which I wouldn't mind visiting now and then. As for my plebeian preferences, they would be: Old South BBQ in Smyrna Chevy's ( no longer available in the Atlanta market ::sniff:: ) Steak 'n' Shake (I *hate* thick burge -
::shrug:: My seventy-something mother eats at buffet restaurants pretty frequently and has never once gotten sick from the food. IMO, the human race is a lot more impervious to the average bug than many folks in this super-sanitized day and age think. In fact, it *is* possible to be TOO obsessed with cleanliness and keeping things 'germ-free,' as evidenced by the evolution of super-bugs that are resistant to antibiotics. If you don't care to eat at buffets, fine. Just accept that it's a matter of personal taste and that they're not necessarily hives of bacteria and infection. Sheesh.

'Monday Mornings' by Sanjay Gupta.

Did you report what you saw to the yogurt shop employees? If not, why not? I'm still trying to figure out why the gal's oxygen tank is pertinent in any way. I have an oxygen concentrator with me when I'm out, and it doesn't make me a pig.

That s/he NOT.

LR, did your mother's doctor tell her about this? Pursed lip breathing This is a technique that can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide retained in her lungs.
-
Bless her heart - and yours. We *do* take breathing for granted. I can be sitting on the sofa feeling perfectly fine, go and feed the cats, and have to sit back down and rest before I can feed the dog. I *always* make sure I've just had a breathing treatment before I go to the mailbox, even though it's not that far from the door. I can still vacuum the house, if I take several breaks. I can still do laundry, as long as I do small loads - bending over to get things out of the dryer is the hardest, and I often deliberately wait until my husband is home to dry heavy things, like towels or

Not my baby! (Hope you're all right, Bones!)

Some of the duct tape dresses are really cute. Most girls aren't willing to do anything extreme like that, but I admire the creativity of those who are.

Look at it from her point of view: home is *her* home, not *your* home. It has been proven that one of the most stressful life events is moving, and the stress is increased when the person is elderly. I don't think she needs to move - I think she needs to find something to DO that will take her mind off of herself.

Maybe it's time to change *agents* if your current one isn't responsive to your requests. That's why I LOVE our car insurance company. It's not at all unusual to call to make a change and get a letter within two days confirming the change. I have never, never, NEVER had an issue with them about *anything*.

My husband and I are equal holders of our policy, as far as I can tell. If I may ask, why is this bugging you? Do you suspect you're being charged more for some reason?

And since it is now *Sunday* morning, who remembers 'Hercules?' I can still sing the theme song .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PrLVgR6J84

Were they only giving away one? I know of someone who won a bike, but I'd rather she announced it herself.

My favorites are Phillip and Hollie. I'm hoping Elise is voted off next week. Joshua is good but I just don't care for him. I never have gotten the love affair with Jessica. And Skylar reminds me so much of the creepy gal on the Zaxby's commercials (not Jill Hennessey, the one who used to be on 'SNL') that it's all I can do to look at her.

While 'Dial Idol' has declined in accuracy since Internet voting was enabled, it *did* show Jessica in the bottom three last week. IMO, 'AI' quit being about talent several years ago. It's now about whoever appeals to preteen and young teenage girls, who are willing and able to vote exhaustively for their favorite. That's why we've seen so many 'cute' guys winning, while more talented singers take second - or worse.

I think going to Atlanta for a prom is fine. What's ridiculous is spending so much on all the other aspects of it: dress, hair/makeup, limo, dinner, etc. Oh and BTW: if you don't trust your son or daughter to drive into Atlanta, then drive 'em yourself and quit griping about it. Kids are a lot of things, but convenient isn't one of 'em.

I'm so sorry, Lady Raider. I *will* tell you that echocardiograms are not the most accurate means of diagnosing PH - only a right-heart catheterization can do that. The doctor may not want to put your mother through that, although I thought mine was a piece of cake. I will be praying for your mother and you, and hope that her doctors can find some treatments for her that will give her some relief.

Aww. And right before the Tim Burton 'Dark Shadows,' too.

If y'all decide to try this, please let us know. I've seen special occasion pans at Goodwill before - I'd probably be willing to spring for one there to donate.

Mark my words: the closest Trader Joe's will *ever* get to this area is in/near The Avenues on Dallas Highway. I could live with that.
