I love Lands End swimsuits. I got a beautiful DDD suit last year that kept me supported without squashing me flat. If you don't like mail-order, see if you can try some on at Sears.

I liked Hollie, too - spent 45 mins. hitting 'redial' on my phone for her last night. Of the last four, I found her voice the most listenable.

I read an article earlier today (not this one) where a doctor at Emory said that this bacteria is usually relatively harmless in someone who isn't immune-compromised. Aimee Copeland had been diagnosed with lupus a few months ago. Young woman fighting 'flesh-eating' bacteria As for when one says enough is enough, we had some dear family friends who faced that situation with their young daughter many years ago. The doctors told them that she probably wouldn't survive, but if she did she would lose some of her limbs. She did indeed lose both legs below the knees and has some pretty fea

OK, who are you rooting for? Since Jessica and Joshua have *really* gotten on my nerves for a few weeks now, I'll be cheering for Phillip. The fact that he's a Georgia boy doesn't hurt.

And early in the thread, I posted the link to the probate court that provided them with what s/he needed to know.

My 'WTH' moment came when I read that she was on a 'homemade' zip line. That sounds like something a kid would fool around with, not an adult. I wish the young woman well, but gee whiz, where was the common sense?

I totally understand Hurstrsq's point. If I want to clarify a point of law - such as procedures for renewing a weapons permit - I want that information to come from the entity that enforces that law. In this case, that entity is the county probate court, *not* P.com. Now, I might come here to ask if there's usually a long wait at the courthouse to renew a permit, but even then that would only reflect certain people's experiences. I used to love it (not!) when someone would come into the driver's license office and tell me that [someone] at [somewhere] had told them that we would take [X

Well, I saw nothing on WSB's 11pm broadcast about a daycare in Villa Rica. Was the story originally on another channel?

Top 5 or so Best Restraunts You've Ever Been To

I just thought of two more places where I love to go and don't go nearly enough: The Vortex at Little Five Points - love their pimiento cheeseburger and fried zucchini! Douceur de France in Marietta - the croque monsieur reminds me of the ones I had in Paris, and their pastries are to die for! -
Anyone else catch Ryan's slip on Idol just now?

The Zaxby's gal is going home - yay! -
Hey, lions gotta eat, too.

When I see that many layers, I think of a torte rather than a cake.

I like him too, though I don't think he was at his best tonight. I'm reasonably sure he'll make it through because he's cute, so I gave my redial button a workout for Hollie. <g> -

At this point, I'd happily say 'bye' to Joshua, Jessica or Skylar. -
I don't know for certain, but I would guess that loans are *not* tax deductible and donations directly to Kiva *are*. I registered with them, but shortly afterward had to retire. Since my pension is nowhere near what I was earning while employed, my charitable donations have had to go on hiatus.

It must be a certified copy, which means it will have either an embossed or stamped seal on it. Without seeing it, I can't say for certain, but you *may* have a 'courtesy' copy that some states provide to parents once the birth is registered. Their sole purpose is for parents to check and make sure the child's information is correct on the permanent record, but they are NOT considered certified copies. I'd go ahead and check out Maine's vital records website and see what's involved in getting an honest-to-God certified B/C, just to be safe.

The Carrollton office is nice, and not too far from where the Villa Rica office was located. To the OP: Procedures vary from school to school for the attendance form. I had many kids tell me they had to ask for it on Monday for pickup on Friday, so don't wait until the last minute to find out what *his* school does. Cedartown is open until 6pm, but they stop accepting testing applicants at 5:30pm, so allow plenty of time to get him there. You have to make an appointment for road tests, so it really doesn't matter so much where you go for those.
-
I was thinking it would be a good companion operation to something like Kiva, for example. Oh, and as far as HFH is concerned, maybe y'all could volunteer at their ReStore.
-
Be aware that Cedartown is NOT open on Saturday, so if that's your only option, you'll need to choose another location. If you go on Saturday, make sure you get there well before the office opens - waits can be and usually are lengthy, and the offices close at noon. Appointments aren't available for written tests. Be sure and check the DDS website for the required documents, and make sure your son studies for the test - the $10 permit fee is NOT refundable if he fails. Good luck! Heh - now that I think of it, probably Wellstar.

If your group is made up of folks who are up to it, I think Habitat for Humanity is one of the best charities out there. As for donating business services, have you considered creating your own non-profit that would concentrate on helping entrepreneurs who are trying to start their own businesses? There are many people who would love to do this but have no idea how to set up their billing or sell themselves to their target market.
