Waddell, Paulding County Library Services Coordinator The Holidays are fast approaching and time for preparing your favorite casseroles and desserts. Have you noticed that the best tasting recipes call for pecans? The Friends of the Paulding County Public Libraries are hosting their second annual pecan sale to benefit the libraries.   2. All four of the Paulding County Libraries will be closed on Saturday the 25th due the libraries having a booth at the "Trick or Treat" village. This is a long standing tradition for the library having a booth there. Be sure to come by the booth at Paulding Meadows and say hello!

  4. Did you know you can checkout FREE “E-Books and E-Magazines” from the library? You need a valid library card with numbers that begin “2105” and a four digit pin. You don’t have these you can obtain it from the following libraries. Crossroads, Dallas, Hiram or New Georgia. Monday Sept 8th 5pm - "Lego Club" Kids build with LEGOS! Wednesday Sept 10th 3pm "Recipe Exchange" Grown ups bring your favorite recipe to swap. Tuesday Sept. 16th 10:30am "K-9 Unit" Children can meet the Paulding County Sheriff Dog and a Deputy! Thursday Sept. 18th 10:30am "Fire Truck" Children and meet a real Fireman and see the truck! Tuesday Sept. 23rd 4pm "Volcano" Children can come and see a demo on making a volcano!

  9. An Affordable Care Act and Health Insurance Informational Workshop will be held at New Georgia Public Library on August 13, 2014 at 3pm. Nykita Scott, the University of Georgia Navigator for Coweta County will be conducting this workshop. Please bring any and all questions you may have about the new healthcare law.
