Whoever made the decision to reduce the voting polls, I bet bet a couple of heads will be rolling out the door soon. Up here in NC, they had a slight malfunction with early voting. Folks were voting full R, and the votes went to D. This should be interesting in the next few days, to say the least

And then POOF................power surge in South Paulding!!!!

Halloween is Oct 31st, always has been. What is with this confusion and what sense do you believe it might make to our future leaders whereas adults cannot determine the exact date!!!! Pfffttt

The Sheriff Dept puts out NEXTEL messages for weather alerts? I bet that is quite costly

One reason why not to ever plant a Bradford Pear tree. Although a nice blooming, shady tree with fast growth, once matured it cannot withstand high winds & rain much less snow or ice

I cannot speak highly enough of any Hospice group. My only knowledge was recent, this past August. I can say, the home visits were very comforting for my Aunt. Then when she was transported to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center, she and all the family were well informed and taken care of, example like NYG said..........grief counseling at the time, and to date still. One thing most of my family members have been doing, we always keep the Hospice Center in mind when we want to donate something. They can not take much, but the main things we do is donating stuff, such as cooked food, sodas,

Can't give you any legal advice but could give you some ideas to maybe pursue. If you have a mortgage on the home, inquire with your mortgage company about the property being either owner occupied or leased out. Absolutely speak with your insurance agent on your possible intentions. Just my advice, if you do go into renting demand in the lease that the renters has to carry renters insurance

I agree. If it's public record ANYBODY can obtain them. I have no knowledge of this "pacer" website, but some neighboring counties do have free public search records online such as Cobb.

Bojangles indicated a target opening of Dec. 7th for the new location in Hiram

I agree. I am sure Cousins Properties (developer of The Avenues) has done studies on a possible "The Avenues" in PC, such as being in the area on 278 from a very large parcel of property they purchased back in 2003, if my memory serves me right. Prelim concept was to make it a mixed use development

Start with voicing your complaints to the manager of any of the establishments. I believe the areas mentioned here are private property and do not fall under the county DOT nor City of Hiram.

Let Precious play with it!!! Although, I am happy to know Gretchen has moved on from bringing lizards in for a present

Although I am certain you do not want to read this name, but TJG did have most construction assets with a lo-jack system many years ago. "Barfy did good" LOL. They even recovered a couple of heavy equipment from this. I also know another contractor in PC that has the little GPS device installed on his assets.............whether it being hidden on a large piece of equipment, or just in a small nextel phone

Thoughts on the BOE SPLOST on the Nov 2nd Ballot?
rockster replied to The Sound Guy's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Could any of the funds from SPLOST, either from county and/or BOE be invested in installing concrete sidewalks for the kids to safely have a level place to walk to school??? -
Could be a virus, or just maybe server(s) overload. In the last day or two news has hit about a couple of the founders being on the Forbes 400 list, and one of them donating a generous amount of money to be broadcast on Oprah tomorrow. I would think a huge influx not everyday visitors are signing in.

What are the rules for either handing out candy or pelting the spectators with said sugar?

Sandy will be missed by many. Prayers & comfort for Jeff and the family. RIP my friend

Nah, it does not include fed taxes, nor any local added taxes. For ie; a few years ago when the City of Hiram approved booze sales establistments could operate until 2AM, they had some stipulations such as a hike in taxes on alcohol sales. Sorry, I know I am getting off your topic
-
That's the state data, I doubt it includes any county and or local taxes, much less the federal taxes
-
I thought all the huge government taxes I pay on my tabacco & alcohol consumption went towards my health care
