I have been looking at reviews for a particular type of restuarant we want to visit and wanted to check reviews for each one in the Atlanta area. Oh boy, it's clear that someone is out to bash the reputatution of some of these places. Two of the places, however, their bad reviews appeared to be genuine. I always try to read between the lines to see if someone is just bashing or not.

I have been giving my dogs and my cat one of the brands on the list. They have just been tossed and I will have to call my MIL in the morning to let her know, she gives hers the same brand. I have been concious for several years now regarding the ingredients that are in my pets food, but I honestly never looked at the chicken jerky because I thought it to be JUST dehydrated chicken. We'll be making our own treats for them from now on or at the very least, be more aware of where the food comes from and whats in the treats. Thanks so much for the heads up on this.

Most likely it will be thrown out in court, if he goes. Besides, he was just throwing away tax dollars, the government does it ALL the time. (FTR, the latter is a joke, not a reference to the disabled man) -
Oh my, you are so right. I never once thought of it like that, but the truth is the truth. Unfortunately, many American's just don't care. Many of us say we do, but when it comes right down to it, how many of us are actually trying to do anything about it?

I am so very sorry for your family's loss. Please know that I will keep you all in my prayers.

Anyone know about baseball, football, basketball cards
raclay replied to em1973's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You can check with Beckett, they have magazines you can buy (or used to) or you can got o their website. They seem to be the leaders in giving value to sports cards. If you think you have something more valuable, then it might be wise to have it looked at my a company or individual that can examine the card, grade it and put a dollar value on it. The latter is not a free service, however. -
I'm beginning to wonder if the government is trying to force all of US food producers out of business. Maybe the Gvmt has some sort of secret deal with China, after all we import so much from them now anyway. For the record, I am quite serious about my conspiracy theory.

I saw a bunch in someones yard today while we were in Douglasville. One of those surprise things people wake up to. It was cute.

Prayers going up. I hope to hear good news about her soon.

Really, I know that, but a girl can wish. Right?

I would love to see a Whole Foods store out this way. Even if it is down 278 closer to Cobb, it's still close enough and a great place to shop. I believe the demographics in this general area could support one.

Wanted to share my new, finished project.

Your curtains look awesome. Now I want a new house so I can have a big porch and curtains, too. -
Wow, those are some beautiful cakes. I don't have a graduate right now, but I'm sure I can think of a multitude of reasons just to have a cake from FCB and they are right up the road from me.

Oh, I hate to hear it didn't work for your DD. Like you said though, everyone is different. I felt like you going from product to product trying to find a solution. Really, I hope you find one soon. The tanning bed worked for DD, but this time of year the wait is crazy. GG, we recently went back to the Matrix Biolage shampoo and conditioner. DD is using the Neosporin body wash, but maybe when I'm comfortable that her eczema is under better control, we'll use that as body wash. Thanks for the info, it never occurred to me.
-
My DD has eczema, she's 12. We have tried everything known to man, even prescriptions from the dermatologist. Finally, Neosporin has come out with their eczema line and it has worked very well. It comes as a three part treatment, body wash, moisturizing cream and anti itch ointment. She has been using it for a little over a month now and her eczema is a pale pink, but rough/bumpy looking although the skin is really becoming quite supple. DD's eczema looked like that of a burn victim, people used to ask her that too. Fortunately, this stuff is working for her, slowly, but working nonetheless. H

No, actually I did not realize that to be disrespectful. In fact, I see that as a way to show patriotism since it would be a bit difficult to fly a huge flag from my car, not to mention unsafe. Also, those sticker, window cling flags are not altered in such a way to appear to be anything other than the American flag. I never said I was outraged, maybe some are, but that's their right.
-
I am not an Obama supporter, however, he isn't responsible for that woman making that banner. It is a disgrace and disrespectful. She should be charged in accordance with the law regarding desecration of the American flag. As far as the author of the report, he/she needs to study their history a bit better, Betsy Ross did not create Old Glory, Mary Pickersgill did. That first flag as we know it today, is in the Smithsonian and their curators and historians state Pickersgill as the creator.

It is a good feeling to know they watch out ain't it?

Yep, big difference in being nosy and spreading gossip. Personally, I have NO problem with my neighbors keeping an eye out and asking questions. This is a good thing and really can help prevent theft. Fortunately, I have awesome neighbors and when someone will be at our homes for something out of the ordinary or we are out of town, we tend to tell each other. This is good since one of my neighbors is single, so most often if she is selling something, for example, one of the other neighbors DH will go over to be with her, just in case. It's called being neighborly and aware, not just nosy. KRM

That's just gross. As a former meat cutter for Kroger, we never used "pink slime", we did use trimmings from the days beef to grind up at the end of our shift. It was sold as regular ground beef, but was as lean as ground chuck. For the record, West Metro buys the same meat that Kroger used to buy before they went to prepackaged meats. It is good quality meat that WM uses. It is true that if you want the best ground beef, go to a store that still cuts their own daily and pick out a nice roast or request a larger piece to be ground for you if you need very large quantities. Stay away from the

I used to love watching their show when I was younger. Although it was on Nickelodeon in re-run, I loved it and thought he was just so cute. RIP Davy Jones.

Oh my, that is very creepy. You know, some have asked if that site is real, it doesn't matter at this point, the photos are out there and can not be stopped once on the world wide web.
