Well it could have been that the cow jumped over the moon, fell, landed on its back and realized it left the Life Alert button in the barn. It was probably mooing... HELP I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN"T GET UP!!!

My son went through there about 1:15 and called to tell me about it. He said it didn't look too big yet. He was about to call 911 when an emergency vehicle went by. He said it's over near the water department. -
For those of you waiting to hear from your loves ones, I hope they are all okay and will get in touch with you soon. It will just take a bit of time considering what has just happened. To those who have already heard from your loved ones, I am glad to hear that they are okay. I'm sure the storm cleanup is going to take awhile, but hopefully everyone can get back to some sort of normalcy very soon. It's so heartbreaking to hear about the aftermath of these storms, lives are turned upside down. Thoughts and prayers to everyone who has been affected.

So sorry for your loss LR. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. -
We are having leftover Taco soup. Tonight is Tae Kwon Do night, so it will be late when we get back.

Yeah, that works too but then you're knocked out for two days, at least I was. Never again

I've had one kidney stone and I pray I never have another. That sucker hurt like a &*%^$#, so I got the Lithotripsy procedure done and that helped break it up but it still took a month or so for all of it to pass. I only had pain once after the procedure was done and that was a week later. As far as drinking beer to help them, are y'all serious? I LOATHE beer, it stinks and tastes nasty, but I can drink you under the table with some lemonade.

Very sad story and not trying to be judgmental, but....

They were burned over 80% if their bodies, I doubt they will be okay. Modern medicine is amazing, but 80% damage to the body's largest organ is pretty significant. Sorry I don't mean to come off snarky. I too would like to see them be okay, but that's a lot of damage. -

I hate that this happened to these people, but regarding the father's decision to buy that car "Just because you can doesn't mean you should" comes to mind. He will most likely regret his decision for the rest of his life. -

I have a Twitter account, but I never use it.

I'm on a Lenovo right now. I really like it so far, bought it in May from Best Buy. So far so good.

Rest in Peace JohnnyJ.

I use GREY because I always think of Greyhound when I spell it. Sometimes I use gray, I just mix it up more than anything.

My deepest and sincerest condolences go out to JohnnyJ's family and friends as well as his PCom friends. He was a bright spot on this board and will be missed by many. I never met him personally, but I have no doubt he was a good man, everyone has had something good to say about him. RIP JohnnyJ.

Yeah, that an NEVER EVER let your feet hang off the side of the bed, they will surely grab your feet.

I guess I made it sound like I still use them. Oh no, make that a big fat NO and I haven't since I was about 15 years old. Like you, I don't want to be near one.

Yeah, Ouija boards scare me too. I've more than one experience with them. Something must be wrong with me since once wasn't enough. LOL

That's funny.

I used to have one at my house in Savannah, but I don't believe she is there anymore. My Dad built the house in 1980 on land that had never been lived on, at least not for a VERY long time, yet "Elizabeth" was there. I could feel her and once I heard her, she called mine and my friends name. We both heard it, we were children at the time. My Dad passed in 2007 and in 2008 I rented the house out. I never felt her presence again after the first tenants left. The first tenants were a couple, she in her forties and he in his fifties. He passed away in the hospital on my Dad's birthday August 26th

That's horrible. I remember an episode of A 1000 ways to die TV show, a man who was trying to steal recipes or something like that, hid in a commercial dishwasher after working hours and was killed in it.

Duck eggs are good and so are goose eggs. The first and only time I ate a goose egg was in 1990, my Aunt had some from her geese and made it for me. It was good, but since she lives in Florida, it's a bit of a drive to go get some from her. We get our eggs now from a friend in Carollton, but they are chicken eggs. They are so much better than grocery store eggs.

Sixty days notice is required of the landlord to the tenant to vacate the property. Thirty days notice is what is required by the tenant to landlord that said tenant will be leaving the property. I believe the 60 days is to give the tenant ample time to locate another place of residence. This information is on page 23 of the tenant/landlord handbook that someone posted above.
