My DD, this could be her last year going trick or treating, she's 12 now.

Where is this house?

Personally, I believe the dress is too short to wear in court. If you look at how the film crew videoed the dress, it was from an above angle giving the illusion that it is longer and yes she was holding it down. In the tape the woman even stated that she had the ability to pull it down more, evidently she chose not to when she was to appear in court. Maybe she felt she could be a little seductress in that get up.

Many thoughts and prayers to this little one and her family. -
Ummm, did you forget? I have a truck. LOL If you need to, we can take it over during the week after I get off work. I don't live too far from ya.

Does anybody know anything about a wreck last night?

Glad to hear everyone is okay. As for your interestingly complicated family, you all ROCK!! You all are a prime example of how adults should act with one another and Mini-Me will benefit beautifully,so will your other Little Bit. If there is anything you all need, just ask, you have plenty of friends here. -
My son is friends with a boy that lives in the big white house on several acres. I will have him ask Jake if that is his familys property where the church is located. Their name starts with K, is that the property owner you speak of?
-
Is that the little white church where weddings used to be held and is just inside Cobb County? The family has an emu in their front yard?
-
Praying he is found safe and soon.
-
Neither, I have Sprint.

Congratulations!! Were you a telephone operator?

How about stamps and assorted cards, that way she can have them when a special occasion comes up?

It was $3.14 at Sam's at 3:30 today when I drove by.

Those look very cool. Gonna have to look for them, my kids would love 'em.

That is just crappy on the part of Clayton County. Hopefully people will be able to make donations for the treatment and care of this officer. I too realize it's a dog, but it's a dog bred, trained and worked for a purpose, so to dump him like yesterdays trash is completely heartless.

I heard this on the news this morning too. It is so sad and he was so young. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, co workers and the students.

Interesting. I do actually read labels on the food I feed my dogs, but not on what my family and I eat or use. For years I have known about ethoxyquin ( used as a preservative) so I always make sure their food does not contain it. It really frustrates me that this is allowed to go on. It's no wonder cancer is so prevalent today.

I think I'm going to sit down one day soon and read up on the hard to pronounce ingredients on some of the labels. It's hard for me to understand how the FDA can allow companies to include additives that are so toxic, or at least toxic over time as it is consumed or absorbed in small quantities. I do realize the FDA is far from perfect and money is always a big factor in why people do what they do and get away with it. For my family and I, we are going to try to become more aware and change where we can. At least we can start by changing our personal care products.

My DH came home today and told me that one of those water flavorings I bought for him contains propylene glycol, an ingredient in anti freeze. So I went online and found some info about it and it's a bit worrisome. Even though the FDA says it's safe enough, it's really not. Now I will say I am not one to read labels much, but I know many additives in our food and health care products are not safe. I'm not trying to scare anyone, just looking to inform since I thought it was interesting that we basically are allowed to consume anti freeze on a daily basis or put it on our skin. Anyway here is a

I watched the show a couple of times and don't care for it. Those people shop with their coupons and buy huge amounts of products, use their coupons and save a ton of money, but the majority of them don't even come away with a weeks worth of groceries to feed their families a variety of meals each day and night. I am more pleased to hear stories from those who coupon the honest way and save money and have something to show for their time and effort, other than the 40 rolls of TP they got for 29 cents. Families can't eat TP.

That's funny. We have an Italian Greyhound that is quite tall for his breed and can reach the kitchen countertops and the table. Well, one year during the holidays I made those peanut butter blossom cookies, left them too close to the edge of the table and Dodger helped himself to every Hershey Kiss on the two rows he could eat. He stole a freshly made roast beef sandwich I made for DH's lunch one morning, I turned to get a baggie for it and next thing I know he's grabbed it and out the back door with it. He ate half of it before I could get to him. These animals of ours sure keep us on our

What is loose meat? I have never heard of that.
