I think the transplant will keep her alive for a bit longer but it won't make her well. She has cystic fibrosis and that can't be cured. From what I have read about the disease, it will harm all of her organs, not just her lungs. I hope this operation at least gives her a little more time with her family. She is lucky to have gotten on the transplant list and a match found.

When I was a kid, my mom used to buy Kroger brand Kids Love It peanut butter. It was sold in a big plastic tub, like the big tubs of ice cream you can buy. It was the best peanut butter!!!!

My first really clear memory is when I was about 2-1/2 and my sister, JoEllen started kindergarten. What a shame! The article said they could print a sticker to go over it but the mom isn't having it. I would make my kid put the sticker under the kid's picture.

I found a dead one in my house about two years ago. It was near the window. Yes they can kill you because I will pass out dead if I ever find a living one in my house!!!!
