I need to do spring cleaning around my house and THEN take a vacation!

Congratulations and many, many more happy anniversaries! We will celebrate our 25th on October 22nd. I've known of my husband since he was 11 and I was 13.

He represents Christ on earth.
-
It's what he represents that puts him in such high regard.

Ha! I graduated in 1981 and it was 2 spaces back then. When my son typed a paper for school, he got marked off for using two spaces. They wanted only 1. Two looks nicer and makes the paper easier to read, in my opinion.

Thank you! I was just going to ask when the book would come out. I love Steven King and this sounds like something I want to read. Is Full Dark no Stars available for a Kindle?

They fog in Illinois, too. That's why I said earlier that they must have come down from Maine. They have the biggest mosquitos I've ever seen and LOTS of them.
-
I LOVED Dan Fogelberg - he was from my hometown - Peoria, IL. Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith Kashmir and Fool in the Rain by Led Zeppelin Dog and Butterfly by Heart any song by Prince

They must be moving down from Maine.

Go out to eat tonight and order eggplant. That should get things moving for you!

The contacts I have are called Multi-focal lenses. There is a near, middle and far vision field.
-
I tried one eye for near and one eye for far and it just didn't work out for me. I now have bifocal contacts and I like them. Notice I didn't say I love them though. I was told that when you get bifocal contacts, you never quitE get one prescription exactly perfect. In my case, my near vision is perfect now. My far vision isn't as clear I would like it to be. It's still much better than when I'm not wearing contacts or glasses but it's not totally clear. For example, I could never wear them while looking for a street address at night. I am right up on a street sign before I can really

I keep a small notebook in my night stand so I can write stuff down when I wake up. Sometimes, it seems very important that I write stuff down so I do as soon as I wake up because i usually forget details as I wake up more. The stuff I write down is usually numbers and letters and they almost always come from my dead parents in my dreams. Weird.

Wagyu beef sounds like something my husband would absolutely love! He eats all beef almost raw. Mine has to have no pink showing anywhere. If it does, I can't eat it. He is just the opposite. Barely warm it up and he's good to go.

corn dogs, broccoli-rice-cheese, something else but I'm not sure what right now. -
I dream in color. When the dream takes place outside, it is always overcast and looks like it is about to rain. The colors are vivid but it looks like it does in the summer when the sky gets really dark blue before a storm.

I started early (10 yrs. old). I also started wearing deodorant earlier because my older sisters both wore it so I had to be just like them! My son has been wearing deodorant since he was in 5th grade because we had a neighbor who was 3 years older than him and DIDN'T wear deodorant and he didn't want to smell like that kid! Also, he really liked the ship on the Old Spice deodorant so that was another big reason he wore it so early. I come from a family of 6 kids - 5 of us are girls - with 16 years between the oldest boy and youngest girl. I really don't know how my parents put up with us

Thanks for the info!! I'll have to try the boxed stuff and see if I want to branch out and flavor my own. It looks like couscous (sp?). I need to try something else besides Rice-a-Roni and other flavored rices and boxed, flavored noodles and potatoes - I'm in a rut when it comes to side dishes.
-
So, what is it? Is it a rice, or like a noodle or like oatmeal? Do you eat it for dinner or breakfast?
-
I think that statement was uncalled for.

Donoghue is dead but you are right - he probably had a good retirement set up for him.
-
The Catholic church is very rich. What do you expect? It isn't like he can go to a retirement home and play cards with his cronies.

I get sick riding in a car. NO way could I spend 16 months in a vomit comet.

Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Tweety, The Flintstones. I also liked the non-cartoon shows on Saturday mornings in the early 70's, too. Sigmond and the Seamonster, the one with Witchy Poo (can't think of the name), etc.

Why would the private doctor be on your dime? We found a Psych doctor who took our insurance when he was being diagnosed. Try calling your insurance and ask them if there is a doctor on your list you can take your son to. Explain why you are going and what you need. They can give you a list of covered doctors and then research them.
