Peter Graves was part of my Saturday mornings when I was very young. He played Jim Newton in the TV series "Fury".

My husband and I went to the Fox Theatre recently for a concert. The woman in front of me was texting the entire time. It was very distracting. I believe that people have become disconnected from each other due to the lack of face to face interaction. Emails, texting, etc... have become the norm. We're losing our ability to relate to others.

I worked in the collection department of a bank and for the bank's collection attorney for a number of years. One of my responsibilities was "skip tracing". The only real way a person can avoid being located is to sever all ties with family/friends and assume an alias. I would be glad to assist you with your in house program.

I tried it while in New Jersey many years ago. It was a cake of disgusting mush.

The Cobb Co. property is the one I ride most often since it's only 10 minutes from my farm. -
Prayers for you and your family.

My horses. -
It looks like a Ferengi freighter. No doubt hauling a load of gold-pressed-latinum.

These guys are wonderful. They pick up here on Friday. I'll pass the word.

Just because a stable is nice doesn't mean the horses live well. Most of these animals spend their lives locked in a stall with little or no contact with other horses. Not a very happy life for a social, herd animal. If we put plush carpet and a chandelier in our jail cells will the prisoners be happier? Ruffian was 3 years old when she died.

There is a very ugle side to horse racing that most people don't see. The injuries to the animals, the abuse, the horses who don't perform well who are abandoned. The greater Birmingham area was inundated with thoroughbreds, owners, trainers, etc... when the Turf Club opened. People with property built huge, elaborate stables to rent stalls to the horse owners. Some of these people lost their homes when the windfall promised by local government didn't occur. The local horse rescues and humane society were picking up abandoned horses left and right. I saw some of them first hand. A dozen

My husband purchased tickets for us to attend Celtic Woman on the 12th as my Valentine's Day gift. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfO6JpR5Ip8

I'm not very savvy when it comes to cooking but what about using a cookbook for children?

I have nine horses. If this kid had repeatedly shot one of them with arrows, a slap on the wrist just wouldn't do it for me. I don't think the kid should be hanged but he should face some jail time and restitution.

I ordered two from Lawson's a few years ago. They were able to get them in a couple of days.

Torturing a horse is no different than torturing a cat or a dog. Unlike deer, horses typically aren't alarmed by the presence of a human. The damage done to this horse will go much deeper than her physical wounds.

Cool! What did you think of the latest Star Trek movie?

I bring in 50 bales of timothy/alfalfa every month and pay $9 per bale plus delivery. I also put out 6 to 8 round bales of fescue per month that I purchase from a local feed dealer. I have 9 horses. I spend an average of $175 per month for feed and hay per horse but most of mine are very easy keepers. Send a pm if you would like contact information for any of my suppliers. LLF
