  1. He is having problems with his blood pressure meds. His Dr. has been able to get his BP down but it's still higher than it should be. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
  2. Circle of Friends was scheduled to have a float and horses in the parade but my husband was admitted to the hospital through the ER Weds. before the parade. Hopefully, we'll be there next year.
  3. My husband and I are both from just outside of Birmingham, AL. We moved to GA in 1990 and have lived in either Cobb or Paulding Co. since then.
  4. My granddaughter and I saw Cavalia Friday night. It was wonderful!!!
  5. I would like to go as soon as they reopen the trails. I always have an empty space or two on my trailer. If you enjoy riding obstacle courses, you're welcome to come here for our play days.
  6. I didn't know they rented horses there. I had planned to take my horse to ride there this month but a lot of the trails are still closed after the flooding.

  8. My horses inspire me. They don't care about my looks, how much money I have, how I dress or the kind of car I drive. They only care about my character. They are gentle, kind and loving with children and the handicapped. They are part of my family and I am part of theirs. They have come to my rescue when I was injured, protected me in the face of danger and comforted me through heartbreak. They forgive my shortcomings and encourage me to be a better person.   15. Nov. 6th was the only date that I could get two "horse lovers" tickets together.
  16. Not just dressage, some of the riding is done bareback and bridleless (the ultimate goal of natural horsemanship). There is also Roman riding and trick riding.

  20. A young business man with an MBA once told me that Daylight Saving Time was established so that farmers and ranchers could work daylight hours. I asked him if he knew how ridiculous that sounded. lol
