My husband and I are polar opposites. Sometimes it presents problems but most of the time we each just do our own thing.

Round up of the Pryor Mountain mustangs by the BLM

While it is true that some of the horses are trained by federal prisoners and some are adopted out for $125. There are still many others that are not adopted and are being held in holding areas. Horses over the age of ten that aren't adopted after 3 attempts are euthanized. Conquistador, a 19 year old stallion and his 21 year old mare from the Pryor Mtn. area were purchased and released to live out their lives on a large ranch in Montana. The BLM has stated that the horses don't have sufficient range and are going hungry but this has been proven to be untrue. I was convinced long before I -

"The BLM, Uranium and the Pryor Mountains: a perfect mix for a Collusion Cocktail by Jerry Finch and R.T. Fitch So out of the clear blue sky the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) decides to round up the small, yet internationally famous, wild horse herd in the Pryor Mountains, MT while the public screams stop and they refuse to listen. We think that there is something that does not smell, or taste, just quite right, here. It would be a real stretch of imagination for us to question the integrity of a government agency, like the BLM, simply because it has repeatedly violated federal -

My husband is with FEMA. The governor has to request a disaster declaration and the president has to make the declaration. The county where we lived in AL before moving to this area had a county Emergency Management Agency that helped to organize and train local, volunteer rescue squads and was activated during natural disasters; tornados, floods, wildfires, etc... I believe that Haralson County has one but I'm not sure why Paulding doesn't.

The emergency responders are doing a great job but why doesn't Paulding County have an Emergency Management Agency to deal with natural disasters? Do we have a rescue squad with boats to deal with situations like we're facing now?

This is my daughter's next door neighbor Thankfully, everyone is okay. Prayers going up for all of my Paulding neighbors.
