January, I had my gall bladder removed in Sept. of 99. My husband brought me home from the hospital, helped me upstairs to bed and then asked if I would be okay so he could go to the office for a few hours. I said "sure, no problem". Until... I had to go to the bathroom. lol Wishes for a speedy recovery, sunshine! -

Personally, I prefer the laminate flooring in my bedroom to the hardwood flooring in my livingroom. I can't wait to have the carpet removed from the upstairs' bedrooms.

I love the breakfast ribeye. It's reasonably priced, also.

I'm afraid that judgment day won't quite be as some believe with Christians sitting in a circle, eating milk toast and singing Kumbaya. The "New Testament" tells us that judgment day will come at the end of the bloodiest war in the history of mankind. -

The people killed at Ground Zero on 9/11 weren't just New Yorkers but most were Americans. This fact makes it the concern of all Americans. Done

The animosity between Jews (later to include Christians) and Muslims dates back to the two sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael. Until Christians and Jews once again find their voices, we will continue to see our religious freedoms slipping away. The nation of Islam certainly isn't remaining silent.

I would love to be on the jury at this guy's trial! -
I had a boarder here at the farm and either he or one of his "guests" backed into my entry gate. The gate was badly bent and the support post was knocked loose from the concrete. The boarder wouldn't repair the gate because I couldn't prove which one of them hit it. A couple of weeks later someone hit his truck in the HD parking lot and demolished the fender. He had no idea who hit his truck. He was livid as he showed me the fender and described how he discovered the damage. All I could say was "It's a shame you can't prove who did it."

I would have wondered what was going on in this person's life to cause a simple task like pumping gas into their vehicle to become so difficult and frustrating. Could there have been a recent death in the family, illness, divorce? There but for the grace of God... -

Thank you for the information, Dr. George! -
I had forgotten about the post from 6 years ago! A couple of people came by the farm and applied the first day that the ad was posted. The first one that I hired had to quit because she didn't have transporation. The second worked here for almost a year.

I have received several inquiries in the past few days from people asking about a job opening for someone to clean stalls. Since I have never posted anything about a job opening, I'm a little confused by the pm's and emails. Someone on pcom did ask if I would be willing to trade lessons for help around the farm and I agreed to talk with them about it. We are still looking for a couple of volunteers to help with Special Olympics on Monday & Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. but these are not paid positions. Thank you, LLF

Many people in Paulding County have donated time, food, money and fund raising efforts to the shelter. I'm glad that someone is keeping us informed of the situation at PCAC. It will be interesting to see how the stable inspections for new and renewed licenses will be handled under the new management.
