  1. I just took a cruise 2 weeks ago. I went with Carnival and we stopped in Cozumel and Grand Cayman. We started and ended in Tampa. My husband and I only had birth cert. and photo id. In Grand Cayman, we had to show photo id and our ship card to get back on. But in Cozumel we just had to show our ship card. So check with your cruise line. The main reason that it is recommended is because if you miss the ship then you will need passport to get home. We just made sure we were back in plenty of time. Birth Cert. must have seal on it. Mine was old and didn't show info too well, so I got a
  2. I take Stelara which is a shot.I have a $50 copay but my insurance pays over $12,000 for their part. I can't believe one tiny little shot can cost so much.
  3. thanks. That is why I use to tell Matthew stories all the time back when I was active on p.com. I wanted people to know about my son and not be afraid if they are around a person with special needs. I wanted people to know that he had likes and dislikes just like every other child. He just learns at a slower pace and some things have to be adapted but mostly he has more in common with his peers than he has different. This story really upsets me because I can see it being my son that has that temper tantrum and I am scared how others would react. Another reason I am scared for him to be alo
  4. I would love to hear from someone in the LE on this because I too would love to know that. My son is always with someone. Even at church events, I always require someone is with him at all times. He can never be left alone. My reasoning is because he would just walk away. You can call him and he won't answer you even if he hears you. Just this morning I got a call from my aunt who lives in my neighborhood...Matthew had walked out the back door and across the street to her house. He never told me he was going and I had no clue he had gone. He is quiet and quick. So even though I try my ha
  5. I haven't posted on p.com in years but I feel like I need to speak up here. I have a son who is 16 with Down Syndrome. What I want to see come out of this horrible situation is education. People are not scared of and react differently to what they understand. If the people involved would have known something about people with Down Syndrome then maybe it would have been handled much differently. I personally don't care if a lawsuit is filed or not, I care that people learn from this and this never happens again. Absolutely not true. While my son is very loving and good spirited....you
  6. I got a phone call from a friend that said she heard the movie theater in Hiram caught fire sometime today. Has anyone else heard this? I couldn't find anything on this so I told her that I would ask and see.
  7. I would love more info on the cost. My son is 15 and has Down Syndrome. He is hard to get good pics of so I don't have any currents ones.
  8. I found the ones that I have. You are welcome to it. Text me sometime and I will get them to you.
  9. let me look and see if I can find the ones that I use to have.
  10. yes, Johnboy is who picked up mine.
  11. so what is the outcome? Do you feel better or did you end up going to the doctor/hospital?
  12. yeah, I thought I was constipated too. That is why I thought they would laugh at me and instead they sent me back for surgery. The cat scan is how mine was found also. Blood count should be less than 11 and mine was 18. And went up to 23 when I had my gallbladder removed. When I got cleared from that doctor then mine went back to 5. But I take shots to kill my immune system so that is why mine was so high. I just took a shot when all this happened.
  13. I just had mine removed a little over a month ago. I had the sharp pain in my right side. About the same area that you are talking about. I could not sit, lay, stand, and I tried everything to get back to sleep. And this lasted for about 7 hours before I finally called someone to take me to the ER because hubby was out of town. I finally went to the ER. I thought they would laugh and say it was gas. I was not sick, no fever or anything else...just in pain. Really bad pain. I looked like someone on drugs that you see on the cops show....I couldn't sit still. I was moving every 2 seconds.
