LOL NoPickles4Me My daughters started doing this in middle school. I offered to prove to them that I was not a Dude, that I was 100% a woman. They stopped saying it. -
Three college kids and all are going trick or treating. None are into egging or beating up small children. Just love to dress up and see the neighbors.

Rachael Ray suggests brown sugar and cinnamon. Me, I like plain old salt and olive oil.

We love chicken livers wrapped in bacon and cooked up in the oven. Or use Water Chestnuts (in the oriental section)

Are there any Doctor's here?

We had this last night and didn't really know what to expect. It was very good. I poached mine with a little lemon juice and Italian salad dressing. It was great and I am going to get some more this week.

I use Ricotta Cheese with one egg and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and some Italian seasoning. Yum Yum!

I just picked up some Old Time Pottery glasses at Goodwill for .50 each. Very nice Christmas stem ware. At Old Time Pottery, I recently picked up 12 bowls for .50 each that matched my daughters set. They have great deals in the back of the store and there regular prices are great too. -

Does anyone else remember where they were when Soupy had his kids show and told all the children to sneak into their parents room and take money out of daddy's wallet and mommy's purse and mail it to him. It's one of my earliest memories of hearing my mother curse. I use to love to watch Soupy and then Romper Room when I was a child. Good old black and white T.V. and a bowl of oatmeal with butter.

We stopped going last year but went back recently. The food was good, with a southern flair the food area was clean and well maintained. I wish they would do something with the seating. Almost every booth has rips and the entire place needs a good coat of paint. The waitresses there are very nice and you know, because it is a buffet, some people don't tip well or at all.

I would like to thank her too for all her help. Wonderful person and a wonderful store.

no children allowed in doctor's waiting room

I thought the full bladder was to make the baby more visible, like a back drop. I know some offices don't allow children because of equipment and the danger or exposing the children. Don't think this would be the case for an ultra-sound but perhaps they do other imagining that could expose children to x-ray or radiation if they got loss and ran into the room. I must admit, I hate it when people bring children to the doctor when they are not sick. Often times the person watching them is sick and doesn't do a very good job of watching the kids. I've seen kids running around the room, play -
We like Gatlinburg but avoid the strip. There are lots of romantic things to do that have nothing to do with the strip. Hike to a waterfall in the park, there are several. Cruse the Parkway and have a picnic at one of the many picnic sites. Visit one of the spas for a couples massage. We like going in Feb. when there aren't to many people. But for the price, right now, a cruise sounds like a great get away. Lots of discounts available.

Saw a cute one this weekend of a Sand Castle. Simple brown drape with sea shells and sand toys glued to it. They had made a hat too with little flags and stuff like a sand castle would have.

It has been our experience that Paulding County is very traditional in it's celebration of Halloween. Trick or Treating is on Halloween, not the night before or after, and it starts at dark not dusk. People will drag there kids out in rain, snow or plague of locust. In our area we have found that the little kids stop at about 9:00 and the bigger kids stop about 10:00. There are several Churches and groups doing activities earlier in the week and day. This is not considered double dipping by most people, just a pre-Trick or Treat event. Enjoy the Holiday!!!

My family loved this stuff. Pretty easy and delicious. The kids never could remember the name and called it "Goody Bread". We are on low carb. diets or I would grab some from ya.

Call me Nutts! They are also one of the first banks to jump on board the limited over draft fees. Not that we have any problem with over draft fees but I have been with other banks when their error, not mine, cause me to be over drawn, then they added on several over draft fees and started to return checks that I also got fees on and was very embarrassed by.
