  1. JMO but the father acts like very strangely, the mother response like a puppet and the children run loss like wild hooligans! JMHO
  2. Sorry for the loss of this young girl. We heard she was much younger than 27 but it could easily just be rumor. Agree that Nebo, Ridge and Bob Hunton need shoulders. Bob Hunton is becoming a much more popular cut through these days and very few people obey the 35 MPH speed limit. There are a few blind curves on this road and people are often times over the center line.
  3. Broke out the green tea and a cinnamon stick, flannel jammies and enjoyed the cool start to the week.
  4. Heck no! That is s clear sign of disrespect. We expect respect from our children and anyone they call a friend.
  5. I would like to know how much money the family is making doing these shows. Also, from what I heard yesterday on the news, the boys were on the roof with a camera filming the balloon. Okay, what kind of parent permits there children access to a roof. I understand that boys will be boys, but parents need to be parents especially to a gang like this one. If your six year old child is on the roof with out parental supervision, something is diffidently wrong with your parenting skills. The boy needs to be taught a lesson and then the parents need to be taught a lesson.
  6. once again, I too am very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort knowing that your Mother is in the arms of our Lord. God Bless you and yours
  7. Instant head board for twin bed: Large cork board from Wal-Mart (about $12.00 bucks) Fabric to cover, batting, decorated thumb tacks Cover one side of the board with batting and cover with fabric. Staple in back to make neat. Add thumbtacks and or ribbon to decorate. Looks nice if you make matching curtains too. The cork board makes it easy to staple and light weight. Also easy to hang.
  8. GO TO THE DOCTOR!! Early detection and treatment, if necessary, is crucial. We are talking mastectomy vs. lumpectomy in some cases. But even more importantly we are talking LIFE OR DEATH. Don't screw around with this. If you can catch it before it spreads to the lymph nodes you are MUCH better off. Sending you a prayer and a PM
  9. Outrages medical bills ate our savings.
  10. Thank you, thank you. Every once in a while...... I think Angelina likes seeing the UPS guy in those adorable shorts!
  11. Subject close to my heart! Be sure to get the right size baton. It should be the a little shorter than the child's arm.
  12. I was thinking the same thing about the delivery idea. I don't know if the schools will allow it (thinking Fast Times @ Ridgemont High pizza) but as long as you can drop it off at the front office, they may. I also love the birthday party idea. Is there enough room to host a decorating part? We do this in our home every Christmas and the kids have so much fun! Use paint brushes instead of pastry bags to ice cookies. Works like a charm. The children could take them home in goody bags.
  13. I've got a 18 year old who gets their teeth filled with out Novocaine for fear of needles. Drawing blood is so much worse than needles like in a shot, but either way I hate them.
  14. I would love to be able to pre-order pies for the holiday. Will you have a post of available pies and prices on the web site? and not those skimpy grocery store pies. I'm thinking French Silk, Strawberry Pie, Mincemeat, real traditional stuff. If you do pre-order, make sure you get at least half the money up front and a pick up by or else policy. Be sure to post Special of the day on the sign out front. I'm thinking you could probably pull in some drive by customers if they knew that you had casserole available on their way home from work. I'm thinking Lasagna, Chicken Pot Pie, and maybe fr
  15. Just please don't call 276 the four laner.
  16. 25 years ago, I borrowed my Aunts beautiful dress, friend of family made a three tier cake, Mom and I made lots of appetizers and my sister's and SIL kept everyones plates full. We had a church wedding with just family and everyone was in the ceremony. Had the reception at my Mom and Dad's place. Served Champagne and beer. It was great, no drama and everyone was happy.
  17. Sending a little prayer for your little one. And a little prayer for Slumber's big baby too.
  18. We got some N.Y. Strip from a guy on Brownsville road. They are a little on the thin side but very very tender. Cost us $30 for 10 steaks about 1/3 inch thick. He had thicker cuts and even thinner cuts from $25 on up.
  19. Ditto good vibes for NW. 3 young adults all with 4 wisdom teeth removed there for a total of 12 teeth extracted. The only problem I had was insurance related. I finally had to bring in proof that it was covered by insurance or they were going to make me pay up front and then get reimbursed.
  20. Very good G-wolf Patrick Wayne, Tom Berenger
  21. Wolf-no google! No way you know this one. "Roots' begginin to work, Yeah, it's definitely kickin' in now"
