  1. My heart goes out to all the people affected by this natural disaster, but mostly to the small children who can not understand how this is happening to them.
  2. Blessing and prayers to you and your family.
  3. These pictures do not do the bracelets justice. They are so much prettier in real life. She can also make beautiful medic alert bracelets. So much nicer than a plain steel chain. Beautiful work Anita.
  4. AT&T also offers a discount for full time college students. Every little bit helps.
  5. We got up at 4:15 Friday morning so we were in for a long day. HBL dropped of the tickets and after work the hubby and I got all dressed up (wig free by the way) and took off. We didn't even eat dinner. We got to the Cobb Energy Center at about 6:45. we hadn't been there more than a few minutes when we ran into some fellow Pcommers by accident. CallMe4UR Cruise. Great folks. Found our seats and what great seats. Everything about this venue was very nice. The show was very beautiful. A glimpse into the Chinese culture done with gorgeous costume, dance, music and props. We especially enjoyed
  6. Mine are wondering if I included my gold fillings in my will
  7. My biggest concern is the money/supplies are no going to get to the right people. This country is run by thugs and gangs. I think in the beginning aid will go to the right people, but in the end those needy people are going to receive a blanket and box of food just to have some moron with a stick beat them down and take their goods. They need to set up a camp, patrolled by natl. guard until housing and job can be created for the good people of Haiti. Don't get me wrong, massive funds are needed to do this, and the U.S. and EVERY other country should contribute, but with out follow through i
  8. I truly believe in this. I paid it forward this week when someone needed a babysitter and didn't have the $$$. And then without knowledge of this, some people paid it forward to me and helped me win a contest. Everybody wins!!
  9. What she said. Anita is like a walking B.C. dictionary. The way I think of it is like this: Some tumor grow on Estrogen, some like Progesterone and some prefer Her2. I hope I'm not being to technical here. Triple Negs. tumors don't grow on any of that. It's kinda unclear what makes them grow, so they zap it with all they got, Chemo. and Radiation, and then wait and see. Triple neg. cancers do not respond to hormonal treatment. It won't actually say Triple Negative on the pathology report, but if you read down where is says Estrogen it will say positive or negative. Same for the other two.
  10. she said "can can"! It's the little things
  11. I will and I might even may my debut with out my security wig. Should be an interesting night. I've been on the phone telling my family about it. Thanks again to everyone!!
  12. I WON!!! Jumping up and down! Crap, now what to wear! Thank you all! I'm so excited.
  13. I am so happy that you qualified for the Brachytherapy! It is what I was hoping to get but didn't qualify. You are going to do great!! I just know it. Like Anita, I too was Stage 2A but with no lymph node involvement, Triple Negative. Chemotherapy was highly recommended due in part to the triple neg. status. I'm hoping and praying that you do not have to do chemo. I will be sending prayers your way on Friday when you have your balloon put in. If you get the time run by PacNPink and check out all the cool B.C. stuff they have. Anita and staff will make you smile and help you feel like you are
  14. So sorry to hear. Mommy dog must be so upset. Hang in there little brother.
  15. Thanks for the tip, but I wonder how you handle this at night when a child can not hold it through the night and must wear either Pull-Ups or a Diaper. How do you transfer from being a Big Girl/Boy by day and a Baby by night? I've seen so many parents struggle with this.
  16. Would this be at Bald River Falls?
  17. Is this some kinda random copy and paste post. I came to Paulding.com on accident. Looking for info. on things to do in Paulding and they came up on the search. That was a very long time ago.
  18. I would really enjoy these tickets. Having recently finished my Chemo. and Radiation therapy for Breast Cancer the hubby and I have been staying real close to home to keep from getting a sickness or infection. We just recently started to go out into crowded places but still keep my hand sanitizer close by. It would be so much fun to get dressed up and go out on a date. Thanks for the opportunity.
  19. Yep, had it too with baby #2 and 3. Diet and exercise worked for me and I have had my sugar levels checked several times since with no reoccurance.
  20. I have one I made in my Brownie class back in 1968. I drew a horse on the side. It has several chips on the rim so I have to be careful when I drink out of it. When it's in the wash, I drink out of a tall mug made for me by one of the children I have watched. On the bottom she wrote, "I love you" and her name. How can this NOT be a favorite.
  21. Straight leg khaki slacks, maroon sweater, maroon socks, and a cute pink/gray and silver scarf. The matching socks are probably over kill, but my toes are cold and thick white athletic socks are out of the question.
  22. Poor little guy is probably really hungry and having a hard time keeping warm.
