How sweet. Nope it hasn't happened to me and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to do it for someone else. BUT I have given other people extra coupons for buy one, get one at places. I guess this kinda stinks for the restaurant but I generally look for people whom appear to perhaps could really use a BOGO.

I've got one more thing to get and one in route via snail mail. I decided to help Mom out this year and wrapped all her gifts this year. Honestly took all day Sunday to wrap hers and mine. I made all my own bows this year. Very time consuming. I also coordinated all my wrapping paper. The tree looks fantastic with just gold and shiny blue packages under it. We have a plastic shoe box that we keep our tape, tags, pen and scissors in when wrapping. This way the scissors don't get sat on and the tape lost. Baking is about 2/3 done and in the freezer. Exhaustion is setting in.

I can't wait! How cool would that be! We have pictures of one winter here when it snowed just a day or two before Christmas. We ran outside and took pictures of the house with all the Christmas lights on at dawn. By 10:00 it was all gone but we got some great pictures. -
I'm dreaming of a White Christmas, just like the ones I use to know.......... Man!! That would be awesome!

Wonder if this qualifies for a second mortgage.

Raider- I am so sorry for you loss, but it sounds like you are all doing well with Maw Maw's passing. May she rest in peace in His heavenly arms and may you and yours take comfort in knowing that she will no longer feel pain in his Kingdom.

We have done the breakfast casserole and Monkey bread, except we call it Pull Apart Monkey Balls...........don't ask. This year I am doing the Paula Deen French Toast Casserole. Sounds yummy and easy. I need to find some wonderful syrups like raspberry and praline.

When my three children were little I was trying to find ways to remind them that the reason we celebrate Christmas was much more than just presents. So we secretly took a piece of straw and placed it under the table cloth on the dining table. We would remember that baby Jesus lay in a manger lined with straw. We wouldn't tell the other grown ups about the straw. It was our secret. Someone would always comment about the mysterious lump under the table cloth and the kids would giggle and remember the true reason for the celebration. The kids are grown now, but I still place a piece of straw in t

Good to hear he is feeling better! Everyone keep in mind that antibiotics also kill the good bacteria in your system. Many children get a secondary illness from this, including thrush, diaper rash and U.T. Ask your doctor about over the counter medication to prevent this.

Still have Mom and Dad, about 3/12 hours away from here. We moved here to be closer to them. Moved my FIL and MIL down here too, but we have lost them. This will be my DH first year with out either of his parents here to share the holiday with. Gonna be tough. I know how lucky I am to still have my folks and thank goodness my DH loves them too.

Thank you for sharing. Triple Neg here so always on the look out for anything that might help. Doing the Asparagus juice, exercise, diet and Vit. D. Don't understand if Soy is helpful for triple neg. but am going to check it out.
