Congrads and good luck!! I hope those baby girls can soon suckle from their Mama real soon, as it will be helpful for them and for Diamond.

Super easy and super yummy. Take some summer squash cut into chunks, some zucchini cut into chunks, slice up a onion and put the whole mess into a pot along with a can of diced tomatoes. Cook on Med. heat until the onion is soft.

For anyone out there that makes hats. The American Cancer Society and Heavenly Hats Foundation are always looking for new hats. Your head gets really cold after hair loss due to chemo. and you need them to sleep in. Maybe even Anita at PacNPink could use them for the Look Good Feel Better program.

Know any Record Album Collectors? Old Records for Sale
PauldingMom replied to Nemie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I know your short on time, but there is a place in Marietta Square that buys and sells albums. -
I've had numerous problems with the Kroger on Ridge Road. Use Rite Aid now. I also look at the cleanliness of the pharmacy area. It's bad enough that you have to stand in line with other people who may be sick but the huge carpet stain is enough to make a well person sick. I know price is important but service, care and commitment mean something too.

Chains are not going to help unless we get at least a foot of snow. I'm hearing we are going to get 1/2 inch. Stay home. Turn into the skid and stay off the brakes. Your best bet is to grab some gravel on the side of the road if you need traction. Trucks are no better than cars in snow. Actually worse because they have less weight in the back end making them more likely to slid, especially on ice. We always keep cinder blocks tired down in the back of our truck. Kitty litter works great if your tires are stuck. That's all my tips for today, except this one which is good in any cold weath

Doc. Israel did a fantastic job. I can hardly find the scars where the removed the lump and the node. He also sent me to Dr. Brown. She was very sweet and helpful. I was wishing to get the balloon type radiation (5 days, twice a day) but didn't qualify due to the size of the tumor. Then I had to decide where to get the regular radiation. I found Austell about 10 minutes closer to my home, but perhaps Kennestone is closer to your home. Both facilities are great. Like I mentioned, I heard that they may be opening one in Paulding in Feb. If you decide to do chemo. then radiation, I would suggest

Well here's something I can totally talk about. First off I would love to talk to your personally about all the things your going through right now. We have very similar diagnosis and I too went through the entire Chemo./Rads or both decision. I did both and can tell you is sucks but is very do able. People see me now just one month post radiation and can't tell I've had anything wrong with me. Secondly, please, please, please check into this web site. Breast Cancer org Join the discussion board there. Thousands and thousands of great women with tons of information. You can search just ab

What happened today that has made you smile?

This made me laugh. I'm pretty sure she meant hoot, not hot. -
FAFSA First and don't pay to apply. It's FREE. From there they will send you information to your schools of choice. HOPE Grant is for technical schools while HOPE Scholarship is for 4 year colleges and universities. As stated previously, you may also qualify for PELL Grant. This is grant money that does not have to be paid back. If you attend a 4 year school you may qualify for Stafford Loan too. This has to be paid back at a low interest rate. Payments begin 6 mos. after graduation. Good luck!

I'm confused Did you use an empty coffee filter, or one with used coffee grounds in it?

any idea how to clean the vents?

I avoid using Xmas unless I'm using it for something that is for my viewing only. Like for instance on my grocery list I wrote, "Xmas paper" I picked up shiny blue paper with no print so I guess it wasn't really Christmas paper anyway, just shiny paper.

New Years Eve my daughter SERIOUSLY burnt popcorn in the microwave. I washed it and washed it. I wiped it down twice with straight vinegar and even boiled some vinegar in a dish and it still smells awful. Any suggestions to remove the smell. It seems to be coming from the vent. Or should I just go ahead a buy a new one. Anyone got a decent white microwave for sale?

I second the Awesome. It even takes out some old sweat stains I found.

I had a memory foam mattress. Now it's just a memory. My dog ate it. Honestly. She thought it was the greatest toy EVER.
