  1. I would say about $50.00 per day and then give her a nice tip.
  2. Through thick or thin I am a Bears fan. The only thing I like about the Saints is that they had our beloved Mike Ditka for a couch at one time. What a joke that was. Anyway, as far as the Super Bowl, I leaning towards the Colts. I think they have a better team and that their division is much tougher than the Saints. So go Colts!!
  3. Prayers sent. Cancer sucks, cancer sucks, cancer sucks, cancer sucks, cancer sucks, cancer sucks!
  4. I don't know much about beef, but the venison here has a much different taste than what we use to get in IL. and MI. Someone it was because they eat acorns and pine cones here.
  5. Had the same problem with DD#2. Come to find out she is allergic to nickle which is used in silver and gold jewelery. We got her some 24 K post and her ears healed up well. We stuck to these for a couple years and now she can even wear costume stuff, just not over night. Try putting ice on her ears this morning before trying to put the earrings in. Put it on the front and back of the lobe. Good luck!!!
  6. I send to you and your family heartfelt blessings. Thank you for sharing her story with all of us. May her presence remind us all daily how much we are all loved.
  7. It may be your internet browser. Be sure you are using Internet Explorer and see if that helps.
  8. Tape butchers paper on one wall in the hall. Supply them with WASHABLE marker and let them Draw on the Wall. Turn your living room into a play room. Just grab all the toys out of her bedroom and put them in the living area. This will also keep the little ones out of her room and make it easier to keep an eye on them. You don't want them getting into her room and dumping all her puzzles and whatnots out on the floor. Play Dough can be made from scratch at home. Google the recipes and make a bunch. You can use a shower curtain to protect the floor.
  9. Prayers sent for you beautiful little girl.
  10. you might want to try and get that ick off the back first. Try a warm soak with a wet wash cloth. Besides that, ya just gotta kinda get a finger nail behind the back of the earring and hold on to the front and it should pop off.
  11. Now that should could be interesting. CNN will probably not allow them to go at it. I'm guessing it will be all about how much they disagree about politics but are BFF the rest of the time. Gag a maggot. I wish Joy would go on the Glenn Beck show.
  12. Watch the Daytona 500 with my hubby.
  13. I don't find Joy funny or intelligent. Drives me nuts the way she seems to have blinders on when it comes to anyone else's VIEW. Her "whatever" shoulder movements drives me nuts too. Elizabeth can go over the top, and I don't mean her blouse Willie, but I think she often feels like odd man out on the panel. Joy needs to open her eyes to the mistakes America has made and wise up to reality.
  14. Sent. Just make her your personal chauffeur for the next year. Allow her to driver you everywhere. Be sure to let her drive with other people in the car with you so she gets use to the distractions.
  15. I always feel a little sorry for this little fella. They drag him out of his cozy warm house in front of thousands of strangers to look at his shadow. :nea:
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALEB!!!! :yahoo: May tomorrow be as easy as possible for all involved and that our judicial system work at it's very best.
  17. Reading your story has been very hard for me. But knowing how very much your sister has meant to you and your family, how she has touched so many strangers here on Pcom and I am sure elsewhere has been very touching indeed. God Bless Shannon and all who have had the blessing to know her. May you find strength in knowing how her life has touched so many. Hugs
  18. OMG!!! Had the chesse cake brownie Saturday night. It was heavenly. Warmed it in the microwave for 30 seconds and added some frozen yogurt. Outstanding!!!
  19. Better yet, ask the nurse for adhesive remover. It't much easier on the skin.
