Remind them that they are a child in your home. That the family has to work together and when they don't they loose the respect of others in the family. Respect is something you earn as a young person so you can become a responsible adult. By disobeying your parents you have lost the respect that you have developed to this point in your young life. I want you to remember this for a long time so I am taking something you treasure away from you for a short time. ( Car, cellphone, chance to hang with friends, video games......) awesome. My Grandma lived with us for about 6 years when I was in a teenager. I remember as a child that I really hated giving up my room and having to share a room with two sisters for Grandma, but now as an adult I look back and recall all the things she taught me. She was a very frugal woman as most were from that generation, and to this day I still wipe the inside of an egg to be sure and get EVERY drop.

Kinda a high jack here: Always remember to drive a little more cautiously around hospitals and remind your young drivers of this too. The only time in my life I ran a red light was by a hospital and it was totally by accident. I was so concerned about a tiny patient there I needed to get to I became oblivious to the light. Didn't cause and accident but did get a good honking at.
