I love the smell of cloves. Any time I eat an orange I throw the peel and a couple of cloves in a small pot on the stove. I add just enough water to cover the orange peel and boil it down. It makes the house smell great.

Call it a day and go home. Take a nap and all will be good.

Take the cover and straps off. Use a sharpie or white fingernail polish to write "EXPIRED" on the seat then just put it at the curb.

Me too. Please know I believe rental companies are a great avenue for many homeowners. I just threw a couple of comments out there to help protect people from the few bad apples.

I don't know. When I've had a sciatica flare up I probably would have decapitated anyone who tried to touch me. Even rolling over in bed felt like I was getting struck by lightning. For me sciatica flare ups = pain medication, heat/ice, rest.

I have heard wonderful stories and horror stories about management companies. You probably need one if you will not be living close to the rental house. If you sign with a management company you should make sure you have final approval of repair expenses over a certain amount and not to exceed a specified amount each month. Try to get the management company to use your lease instead of theirs. In your lease you should specify the renter make all repairs under a specified amount of money. Otherwise, you can get hit with $100 fee for changing a lightbulb. $5.00 for the bulb and $95.00 f

I'm grateful for all the fire protection we can get.

No, not for me. I love my family but Good God, I would have to have a break. I would probably be the one begging to go to the grocery store on a daily basis.

Crossroads Public Library Info Meeting
GoodNeighbor replied to Christine0402's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Oh, get over yourself. I live in that area and I've been rubbin elbows with people from all over the county. You have my personal invitation to come visit the new library just like I've been visiting the others. It's open to everyone and I can't imagine they would lock the doors when they see your car in the parking lot. Then again, maybe they would. I'm excited about the new library that will serve the whole county even if some people don't like its location. Are you going to complain about the new fire station too? I hope you know I'm just poking fun at you. -
Uggggh! Like you, I would do the flashcards. Use you computer to print a small picture of the piece and place that on the front of the card and write the info. on the back. Group the cards by period or origin. The groups need to be small even if you have to use subgroups. Study only one group at a time. One of the things I remember from college psychology is that the brain reatains information in groups of 3 or 4. You can combine the groups for memorization up to 7 (3+4) or a maximum of 10 (3+3+4). Just think how much easier it is to remember phone numbers and social securtiy

That's the way the AJC article reads. However, I've learned not to trust the first reporting of any incident. The newscasters rush to be the first reporters and often are wrong on most if not all facts.

My MIL has been dealing with this for about 8 years now. I was with her at the hospital when she had her first attack. She was in tremendous pain and absolutely terrified. Now, she is able to control it with her diet. It only flares up when she eats something she's not supposed to. Usually that only happens when she dines out or at someone else's home. You can't control what isn't listed on the menu. This can be managed. Once you find out what the problem is and educate yourself the fear subsides. When you have an attack you will know how to handle it and you will know there is a po

I've had the same problem. Every time they apply for something (even a Kroger card) they give my phone number and address. I googled the person they were asking for and called them myself. I told them if it happens again I would press charges for identity theft. Now that I have their number I give it to the collection callers. The number of collection calls I get for Earl and Denise __________ have greatly decreased. Good luck.

At least it appears no students were hurt. I hope the driver of the car that hit the bus is OK.

Instead of the Tilted Kilt it could be the Stiff Kilt.

Is he a commerce member?

Sounds like you need to eat a bunch of bananas and wash them down with several glases of water. <-- but not all at the same time. Have you been losing weight lately? I can usually tell when I'm losing weight because I get crazy leg cramps.

Which bus from which school?

Yes, you're right. They guy screwed up. That is his problem that he'll have to live with now that he may be homeless. If I were one of the firefighters standing there my conscience would be my problem. I would gladly fight the fire and take the chance of losing my job before I could stand there and watch another human being become homeless. Question: If the firetruck was driving down the street and noticed a car fire where people were trapped in the car would they just keep driving since there was no way to quickly check whether or not the driver had paid his dues? What if they

Orange peels, cloves, and water. That's it!

All those sound great. I use the salsa chicken variation when I'm making chicken tacos or enchiladas. Don't forget you can use it for more than meals. I also use my crock pot for cooking dried beans, cheesy appetizers, and hot ciders. I even have a small crock pot that I use to simmer potpourri and orange peelings.

Yes, it's just like the frozen yeast rolls you can buy at the grocery store. They come in little balls. When I get them at the grocery store I drop two or three of them in each cup of a muffin pan then let them thaw and rise before I bake them. I freeze mine the same way -- in a ball about half the size of an egg.
