  1. If you use an orange (not pealed) and put the cloves directly on the orange all around it, the fragrance will last for months! No boiling. They also make really pretty decorations around the house and people will ask what it is and love the smell! Makes a nice little gift too! I love the smell of cloves.
  2. He will certainly be missed by all. Someone will have huge shoes to fill. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/joe_lemire/10/12/giants.braves.game.4/index.html?eref=sihp&hpt=T2

  5. East Paulding has a home game next week and everyone is asked to wear pink. I think some of the boys will wear black with something pink on it, I think they will have a good turn out wearing pink. Thanks for reminding me Anita! I need to make my appointment today!
  6. I am so very sorry for your loss, as well as your nephew and the rest of the family. He sounds like a very sweet and special kid...sounds like you are a VERY SPECIAL Aunt too! Scarlet
  7. That was the PERFECT way to handle it! Too funny!
  8. Technically, he is only married to 1 woman. The others had something akin to a "partner ceremony". The 4th sister wife has already done this. Each woman has her own apartment, not just a bedroom...each with a kitchen, living room, bath room and bedrooms. He works, one of the women stays home with the kids, does the household thing and making dinner. The other 3 work. 13 of the children are from his 1st wife (the one with a marriage license). According to the interviews, the wives all have to agree that the newcomer is a good "fit" for them. I watched some clips on TLC about it. It isn't
  9. See Larry White in Powder Springs, he rocks.
  10. Anyone with chronic pain uses their prescription as directed. While they are controlled substances, they are also the only medicine that will help them with their pain. I was on hydrocodone 10/325 4x a day until last month (after being on it for 3.5 years). I haven't had any now for over a month and while I am still in pain, I have been stretching a lot, using peppermint oil and dead sea salts to help at night and riding my recumbent bike every day. It's doable. I still take Neurontin 800mg 3x a day and Flexaril (sp?) 3x a day. It helps knock the edge off and I am much more alert and not s

  12. They make authentic Italian/Greek food. It is awesome! They have had a location on Thornton Road forever and we usually went there. So glad that they here in Hiram now! I hope we can go sometime soon!
  13. It is a great, we have eaten at the one on Thronton road. Authentic, just as good as any Greek I ever had in NY. They do cross over to Italian also like many NY Greek places. Bruce
  14. we quit them after 12 years as you never could get the same story twice with issues and they kept going up on prices. We had the phone, internet and TV when we tried to cancel phone we were told you can't. when we called to cancel it all suddenly they said we could cancel the phone, too little too late. They told us someone would come get the box, a lady came to the door a 9:40 at night with no comcast badge or uniform. Two days later we get a call from crapcast saying they did not get our box, I explained how unprofessionally it was picked up and asked that they never call again. It even star
  15. Shelby and me were out earlier today running errands and on the way home it looked like you were busy! I'm so glad it is working out for you. I knew it was, it was meant to be for you to be there! Scarlet
  16. Shelby has a turtle one and loves it. We got Marjorie one when she was about 5 from w/mart and Shelby still uses it! This is a great deal on them, they had them at w/m (saw them today) and they were considerably more than $10. I know you will get rid of them all fast!!
  17. I was just on there and it gave me an error that they are experiencing problems and are working on it. I received a post on my wall about a diet and saw on my friend's wall that supposedly sent it that a friend of hers said it had the trojan virus...of course it was too late for me. Anyway, It automatically sent to to her entire friends list. If you see the post, DO NOT CLICK ON IT, just remove the post. Hope that helps. Guess I'll have to have Bruce do his majic with a scan tonight!

    NCIS

I love both shows...I missed NCIS last night as we always watch the Biggest looser so I'm going to watch it online today. I caught the 2nd hour of NCIS LA...I love just as much! Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J...how can you NOT like that!
  19. I was offered that a couple of years ago, however, my insurance did not cover it and it was $1,000.00 per treatment and typically 5 treatments are needed to get any benefit. This was at Emory. At the time it was experimental. The doctor told me that those who had the Neuo Stimulation Therapy had great success. Unfortunately, I could not afford it without insurance. Just make sure insurance covers it...it was highly recommended by Emory. Good luck and I hope that she gets a lot of pain relief from it!
  20. huge baked potatoes and a spring mix salad! Yum!
  21. I think you can watch it online at cbs.com They usually put the pilot on there..I watch a lot of shows online on cbs!
  22. I saw most of it and fell asleep towards the end. I thought it was a great remake...much better than the original, part of it could be because of the beautiful cast!
  23. I have a handicap card that hangs on the rear view mirror. I get a lot of nasty looks when I park in a handicap spot because at first glance, I look perfectly healthy. Bur with my feet and back problems, I cannot walk far distances without being in a lot of pain. I also use the electric carts if they are available. After walking just a few minutes, my feet and back hurt terribly...I can't go shopping for any length of time because of it. As far as getting the handicap card or plate, it is usually issued for either 2 or 4 years and then it has to be renewed and you have to have the form com
  24. I have many friends of color, one specifically from St. Vincent, several from Jamaica and many that are Americans born and raised here. They take very good care of their skin and stay out of the sun, which causes much of aging for any person. They are all familiar with shea butter and Avocado, Sweet Almond and Grapeseed Oils which are full vitamins for the skin. My Aunt who was a missionary in Peru and Columbia for years said that many women in that region put Avocado Fruit directly on their faces as a mask which also helps keep their skin looking younger. My friend from St. Vincent is ver
