BH87 replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Ours is set on 73 pretty much all the time and we have ceiling fans going to help circulate the air. It stays about 3 degrees cooler in the basement where my son's bedroom is, and a couple degrees higher on the upstairs (above the main part of the house. -

I don't mind so much since we put in the Trane System in 2007. Our highest power bill has been $150 for August every year. It was only $123 this month. Between the Trane System, double hung windows we put in the year before, Our power and gas bills are always very low. I highly recommend that hvac system if you have to replace yours. It was a couple of thousand dollars more up front, but we got a larger unit with all the bells and whistles and even ran ducts in the basement so it is heating and cooling 3 levels. Awesome System! -

We are both very fortunate to have wonderful fathers. My Daddy is always affectionate and we always say "I love you" before getting off the phone. I am so lucky to have a wonderful man in my husband who always puts everyone else before himself. He always does the right thing for his children, and sometimes that means putting his feelings aside for them. He is a wonderful man, husband and my best friend. We will spend Sunday at SunValley together whild his kids leave for a cruise with their Mom's brother on the RCCL Freedom of the Seas. They will meet up with him in NY on July 1st and I'll

We love St. Augustine. There are lots of things to do there. I believe there is an old fort there that you can go and see. We stayed on the beach and spent most of our time there. We love New Smyrna Beach too! It is very laid back there and you are about a 20 minute drive to Daytona, which is always fun at night. We stayed at the Pelican Condo's there and there is a guy who parks there with food and jetski and 4 wheeler rentals. One of my favorite beaches! Hope you all have a great time!

Some guy on Ridge Road just caused me to rear end him!

At least I am not he only one with a 15lb long handled sludge in the trunk! We were at the BMX track and had to remove some cranks, when I opened the trunk and pulled out the hammer people looked worried that I had it with me. I actually had it for removing the cranks and swapping a gear but just stayed quiet and let them think I was crazy. Don't feel bad, I made a lady rear end me when I stopped at the stop sign on an off ramp. Bruce -
I finally decided my last eye glasses would have the sunglasses when you needed tinting (I can't think of the name of it right now). I already have to have ultra thin lenses, progressive lenses (bifocals with no lines) and an astigmatism. I don't wear contacts and was tired of using a sunglass clip on my glasses. I was surprised it was only about $60 difference to have it and it was the best $$ I have ever spent on glasses! I make Shelby wear sunglasses and a hat (like me) at the pool too. Just as important as spf 30-50. Scarlet

Pat, If you ever need to borrow a tent I have a couple. Bruce -
These situations can be a DRAIN on YOU. I had to tell Scarlet once she needed to stop with a person as I saw the way it was tearing her up to watch this women abused. Eventually she had to tell her I am sorry but if you are going to live like this I don't want to discuss that part of your life. They maintained a friendship without her discussing the abuse. The woman got Lupus, with this it is VERY important to not have stress. He continued mentally, physically and sexually(forced sodomy)abusing her but she stayed. She died at a young age and left this man with a young daughter. Just make

Not as close but we always get Sun Valley passes, cheap and a lot to do. They also now include unlimited soft drinks to season pass holders.

If it is something she is self-conscience of, absolutely let her do it. It was about middle school with both of our daughters on this issue. It isn't anything drastic but will help her be more confident about herself.

My 1st husband thought that way. I don't get it, but I don't have to anymore! lol Bruce is always considerate and kind and always gets me something for Mother's Day. If we don't have $$ then a card is worth just as much to me. This year my daughter made us a steak and shrimp lunch, got me red roses and a sweet card. My son was sick, so he took me to Taki the next day for lunch and Bruce and the kids (Marjorie and Evan are my step-children since they were 2 and 4...as far as I'm concerned they are just as much mine as my own kids) got me a beautiful gown this year with a card. I'm always re
