Just got the title on our 1996 Honda in the mail today! Both of our cars are paid for now! Our House HVAC is paid for as are all the other debt. What a relief! I can honestly say now that we are debt free (only the house payment)! We live within our means, and having cut up our credit cards 3 years ago, we have no need for them now. Learning to live without them was the best thing we ever did!

I am taking my granddaughter with me to vote. It is good for her to learn early how important it is.

We have shared the same plan of 400 minutes per month for 2 phones for the last 12 years. Our plan/rate was so low that we were grandfathered in on our plan. We do not use texting, internet, etc. The only time we really went over our minutes a lot was the day my daughter went into labor and had our granddaughter The kids have phones with their Mom's plan and they text constantly. I actually have blocked texting as we have to pay a "per text" charge. Very happy with T-Mobile, our plan and rate.

We had candy for trick or treat last night...had 5 kids come by. I think a lot had to do with it being on Sunday...people went out Saturday to trick or treat for the most part I think. Oh well, I like Reeses & Twix!

I had my granddaughter all day, every day over the summer and pick her up after school and she STILL wears me out...after 5 years! Bruce was home with her in the afternoons when he worked part time and he was worn out every day too! She loves her Papa and Mimi! But it is a great reason to be worn out! They did this to me with my mortgage payment in JULY! They actually sent me a "returned" payment for non sufficient funds. Charged me $30 and it had never been sent to the mortgage company...Yes, I called the mortgage company. I went to the bank branch and they removed it for me. She told me then that they would take the money out of my account on the day they start to "process the check" and not when the check actually hits the bank. I do not pay my mortgage payment through billpay anymore. Yesterday it would not let me cancel a payment either. I had to actually DELETE the payee to make

A snag...I went directly to bill pay and tried to delete my last payment of the month and it will not let me. You can click on the drop down and it clearly says "Cancel Payment", but does not work. I called the Wells Fargo number and as expected, they are bombarded with calls and it said "Call back again later" and hung up the line. These people do not know this dog, otherwise they would have been able to answer your questions correctly about the dog. Hopefully he will find a good family that cares for him as much as you did/do. You are absolutely right! I get a lot of Shelby's clothes for my house at Sam's. I was there about a week ago and they had the cutest outfit for her and it was $10. Shelby fell in love with it...I didn't need to spend the $$, but there was only a couple of size 5's and I knew it would be gone if I didn't get it. It is her favorite outfit now. Of course I sent it home with her to wear to school. A small price to pay for that sweet smile on her face and all the hugs and kisses! We usually get our candy at Sam's in the big bags. I really like the giant pixie stix! We don't get nearly as many kids as we used to as there are larger subdivisions now all around us and not many6 kids in our neighborhood anymore. I usually get the good candy to give out to them, like reeses, m&m's, twix, etc. I haven't gotten any candy yet, probably will get it this weekend.

They can only hold around $300 in your escrow account if there is an overage and they will send you the remainder. In 2008, we received $900 overage. Last year, our property tax went UP, so we have to pay more every month on our mortgage payment to make up the difference. Our property taxes dropped over $500, so I expect to get a refund. Having said that, the $900 we received in 2008 was the EXACT amount that we were short in 2009. This time, it will go in the savings account in case it goes back up and I can just pay it and not have my payments go up.

I renewed mine last year via mail. I received the notice of renewal about 4 weeks before it was due and I was able to renew for 10 years. It was very easy. Otherwise, I would say to go to Cedartown to renew. They are very fast and very friendly. No one had to wait more than 10 minutes when we took the kids for their driving permit/driver's license. Easy to find too.
