  1. has someone been listening to 99x too much? is this the latest hyped product?
  2. those tractor-trailer type trash trucks with the mesh over the top are transfer trucks heading to the regional landfill, they do not do local trash pickups.
  3. LGE credit union has student programs each depending on if they are under 18 or not
  4. depends on which AT&T you are talking about --- the at&t DSL is junk and constantly off and on, but the u-verse is on all the time and fast for the price
  5. i agree, they should have some ID or legit paperwork with them, or they are just scouting for a house to steal stuff from or move into (squatting) So is it your job to watch the vacant houses in your neighborhood? When you call the "mortgage company", ask them if they will pay you to keep an eye on the place. Seriously though, did you (or the guy next door) call the police or even get a tag number, etc? I have looked at several vacant houses in the county before putting bids on them with the bank. I have never been stopped, questioned, harassed by nosy neighbors, etc. No
  6. why would you assume that ALL employees of a place serving alcohol would have a background check? (servers only at a licensed business) when there is an incident, talking to the police is not always in your best interest -- from several different directions: you want to keep your job, a civil liability stand point as well as potential criminal charges will keep some witnesses from coming forward.
  7. was the code (programming) written in india? also, have you noticed that it does this when you transition/jump between secure and unsecure? (http: vs. https:)
  8. if you want security, the u-haul storage units on hwy5 & I-20 is indoor and very secure.
  9. if it's AARP time, then you are elderly............
  10. That is what i was thinking. There are probably termites in there.
  11. only in new york city.... around here, they call that child molestation
  12. No, i didn't post the topic or pic in january and not a personal attack with you, just the double standards of others online here that say a completely nude child is "cute", etc, but a dressed one is provocative because the way they are posed or captioned.
  13. ironic that some of the same people had nothing to say about the nude kid on paulding. com that was posted in january.... Link: http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/282472-just-had-to-share-this/page__p__3579256__hl__cowboy__fromsearch__1#entry3579256 pic from link:
  14. the acowrth patch has no problem posting the link ...
  15. there are over a hundred sworn officers in this county, but, then again, you can't count the ones sitting in the back of abandoned subdivisions -- that is apparently their goof-off areas around the county. so, you want the school to enforce traffic laws?
  16. one 16 y.o. in may 2008 one 5 y.o. in august 2008
  17. My perspective gives me words such as "young" "inexperienced" and "fresh out of school" --- definitely not kid friendly or can't handle difficult / fussy patients, and they like to refer "non standard" dental issues out to others. meaning, if it is not a standard filling or cleaning, they could not help the kids -- so once the extraction was done, we just stayed at the referred dental group and didn't go back.
  18. From personal experience --- not trying to bust any bubbles guys, but businesses will not share video with you - period. They don't even like to share video with law enforcement without a warrant either unless it directly affects their business (like a robbery, etc or released to the media). Besides, law enforcement have easier access to traffic cam recordings at intersections.
  19. you were right...... arrested over the weekend on theft charges quote: "Megan's mother, in an effort to ensure her daughter's safe return, took out a warrant for Megan's arrest in relation to some jewelry that was missing from the home. The missing jewelry had been pawned by Megan at a local pawn shop." link: http://www.examiner.com/crime-in-atlanta/the-arrest-of-megan-montgomery
  20. Although it was not done on purpose in your case, tree girdling is a practice used to kill trees and let them dry out while still standing. Currently it is used in swamps to kill cyppress trees standing in place and in africa for the ebony tree market. you can search online for info on tree girdling, but in a nut shell, if the wound has healed across the girdle, then the tree will live. here is a wiki quote: 'when the main trunk of a woody plant is girdled, the entire tree will die, if it cannot regrow and bridge the wound from below." links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girdling
  21. good quote at the end of the story -- "The fact is, you could eliminate bottled water," Pillsbury says. "These companies are creating a product that we don't need."
  22. What makes this unsanitary? sounds like good fertilizer. Now i can understand your issue if they were burying them next to the drinking water supply, where disease and bacteria can easily transfer. But, biology tells us that plant cells have a type of "barrier" to most animal viruses and bacteria. Of course, it really doesn't bother 90% of americans that consume corn syrup instead of sugar.
  23. were you thinking that farmers all over the U.S. use sterilized fertilizer to grow crops?
