I have only let my children in them a few times. I have heard too many bad stories. However, many people do. I would hate to see some corporate "suit" make a decision like that, that will hurt someone or a business in our county. I have never been inside this particular establishment, so I cannot put down, or applaud the cleanliness of it. I will do what I can to help.

Well good luck!! I can remember that excitement. I always wanted another one, but he says NO. He has 2 (almost grown) and I have 2 (halfway grown LOL), and he said that is plenty. You all make me very envious!!!!

They have great cars, BUT, I find auctioneers SO annoying!! My boyfriend watches it all the time...sometimes when I'm trying to sleep..I enjoy watching the old cars, and also the ones that we may be able to afford someday!! -
OMG, your northern words just made me laugh so hard!!! It is true. BUT, coming from Maine, the biggest problem with the "flatlanders" IS the way they drive. They come up from the cities, and drive like they are still there. Maines interstate speed limit is the same as on highway 278, and sometimes less. 55-65 depending on where you are. I'm guilty of it, now too, because I'm used to the speeds here, and driving in Maine now feels like I'm riding a horse and buggy!! LOL

Now, that wasnt Northerners, that was Long Island--a totally different country IMO. That would be like if I went to the hood in Atlanta, and assumed Paulding county acted the same way. It has been proven that New York City has some of the rudest people (driving). I'm sure people in Long Island, feel the same about Maine people, as they do about Southern folk.

I dont know...that almost sounds too nice.

No kidding!! Sounds like my kids sometimes......

Yep, but I do hate it. Its really hard to figure out where you stand, when you dont even know what you're standing on!

It usually has 3 sides!! Yours, mine and the truth!!!

I'm sorry this happened to Ashley. This man needs to rot. Prayers that she can understand this was the fault of a sick man, not any fault of hers. Also prayers said for a complete recovery that enables her to get passed this.

Maybe I dont get out much, but I havnt had anyone be rude to me because I'm from the north. The kids and I visited to Savannah once, and the lady at the welcome center was a little snooty, but other than that, I havnt had any problems. If it has happened I guess I didnt pick up on it. I assume if someone is being an ass, its their own attitude problem and not my fault they lead a miserable life. If someone is going to be rude about where I came from, that is their problem. It shows me how outdated and uneducated that particular person is. The same goes for a northerner that would pick on som

I actually thought it would be much more "advanced" here...but of course, I came from a town with some dirt roads, and no store. (seriously) I had never (in 28 years) heard anything about the southerners being stupid, or less advanced. I will say, however, the reason the stereotype may exist, is because of the extreme country people here. For instance, the girl on American Idol last week that was in a really isolated town, she said "And I will get to go on a real airoplane" in a really country accent. Now, with that being said, where I come from, is the same, but with a different ac

You and Motor City are exactly correct. I never remember it being a big deal where someone was from. I always thought the southern accents were awesome, but other than that, there wasnt any name calling. ETA: I take it as a compliment to be called a Yankee, but the only time I've been called it, is in a joking way by my coworkers. I love the South, and will never move back...

Many people use PCOM as their first choice. Rather than Google, they trust their fellow Pcommers. Its a wealth of information, and great people. If I ask for hours of Home Depot for plumbing supplies, someone may reply to me with a discount store in Paulding that happens to be a commerce member. I wondered the same thing before, but when I read the reponses to these questions..I figured it out.

I'm a Yankee, and dont care if people call me that or not. The problem is, Yankee is a term for where people live, or are from, not how they choose to live their life. Redneck is a name for a certain "type" of person and how they live, act, etc. I think they are two totally different things, therefore I didnt vote. Apples and Oranges. Plus, I dont really know the definition of a redneck. You've got your REAL country folk, possibly uneducated, etc that some refer to as redneck. Then you have your other country folk who would be considered a redneck just because they hunt, fish, ride 4 whe

Thanks! I saw them out there this morning. I'm happy it will be on soon, as the blinking yellow light really confuses some folks.

SNL is exactly what I thought of when I watched it!! This was not a very wise decision. They could have used the same concept, with a different word (Oh man for example) and had an infant say it. They would have gotten the same if not better results.

Prayers for your family. I wish to thank him for his service, as well as thanking you and your children for your sacrifices and service. It takes a certain someone to be the one here, praying, and missing your loved one. Stay strong and dont be afraid to ask for help and support for yourself.

It's great so many people came out to pay respect and be there for each other. He seemed like a great person, that I would have loved to have the pleasure of knowing. I've watched the clip of him numerous times since it was posted. For those of you that knew him, know that he continues to touch peoples hearts..he did mine.

We dont make a huge deal out of it. There are so many holidays!! Last year he bought me some bath stuff, and had a bath drawn for me when I got home from work. I think I gave him a new Harley shirt and a card. I dont care much for going out to eat, especially when hundreds of other people are too. Its too much hussle and bussle for me. Plus, he always cooks supper, so its Valentines Day for me everyday!!

Umm, yah. I didnt see any mention that it had GOLD in it!! I really dont even want a blu-ray player because in 2 years it will be outdated anyway!! I watch On-Demand the most anyway, and dont even use our DVD players.
