We are purchasing tile for 2 bathrooms today, and I was wondering where to go. I'd like to buy from a local business, rather than a big box store. I looked in the commerce section, but really couldnt find a list of Commerce members. Anyway...does anyone have any suggestions?? I'm looking for 2 different colors--brown/tan, and grey/black. TIA.

I understand they are hurt, scared and grieving, but the people trying to help should not feel like they are in danger. It is good the doctor stayed to help...but if something had happened to him, it would be one less person to help in the coming days. It is a dangerous place right now.

LOL! I heard on the news yesterday that they are issuing temporary paper licenses, because they are only being made in one location for the time being. So, you use the temporary paper one until yours gets made. But, yah, I dont think I need 3 pictures on mine!!

I dont see it as being like a political race, but some of these points are true. If the governing there was better, and the funds that have previously been sent there put to good use, this earthquake wouldnt have been nearly as devastating.

In all my life, I have NEVER seen people like those of PCOM. So many people live their lives for themselves, and it would be extremely difficult for these people to simply offer a kind word. Well, these people dont make up the majority of PCOM. You are very correct. Whether I need a recipe or a prayer, the good people of PCOM are there. Thanks PCOM for being so great!!! (They are even there when I need to be "straightened out" on any particular subject )

I recommend The Shack as well. When I started it, I couldnt put it down. It may help give you peace.

God is good. We dont always know the answers to our own questions but, trust me, there is an answer. It will be completely clear to each and every one of us at some point. The best thing to do is have faith that the answer will be to your understanding, when it is time. Its okay to be sad, its even okay to be angry, but dont lose faith. God blessed you with these wonderful people to begin with.

Many people go abroad to adopt children already, when we have so many here that need homes. If these children get adopted and can be a positive part of society, okay, but if they just get thrown into the system with no guidelines and no love I dont agree.

Look, I was in a hurry, and it would have been an additional 15 seconds (each way mind you) to get back and forth to my car had it been in the proper spot. That 30 seconds makes a huge difference in my busy day. So, I guess you expect me to not run red lights too, right?? J/K

The thing of it is, is helping your fellow man. You cannot help everyone. If you are helping her, thats one less that needs to. Many people do what they can. If it is donating food to a shelter, clothes to a family, etc...it is still helping. Granted, the tragedy in Haiti is enormous, we cannot turn our backs to our friends and family. Imagine what would happen if ALL the people and organizations stopped helping our people in need to send it to Haiti. It wouldnt be pretty. Good decision on the shoes. Bet you find the same or better, for even less. Karma has a way of working things out.

I get your point. Oftentimes there are numerous conversations going on in one thread, which would become confusing if you didnt quote. There are also many times when its not needed. It is really bad on my Blackberry...scrolling down through it, and looking for where someone's original comment starts after the quote. I dont mind when I'm on my laptop.

I dont seem to feel as good when I just take a multivitamin. The main ones I take are a multi, B-complex, B-12, C, Acidophulus, and some other herbal ones for brain power and memory LOl! The B's help with energy, C for immune, acidophulus for digestive health. I really need to get some D's.
