Me too. Possibly if a child is still young enough to need help, then they are young enough for the door to be left open without much offense. If I owned a daycare, I would probably see about making that standard procedure so as to eliminate any possibly doubt in my mind or the parents minds.

Oh, okay!! See, you arent the dumbest girl in the world--I am!!! Thanks!

How sweet! Your post put a smile on my face!!

I might help if I knew what you were talking about! LOL

It's because they dont listen in the first place!! LOL! My best friend is actually a guy. We now live 1200 miles apart, but he has been my best friend since high school. We can tell each other anything. We have stayed in touch, when most of our group drifted apart.

I've never donated, but want to. What is the process?

Small hijack--you can also see where the money was spent from the previous stimulus nationwide on MSNBC-Elkhart Project.

My thoughts exactly. This is extreme to get the word out, and not a wise way of spending tax dollars. BUT--there are many naive people that dont understand how important the cencus is. I'm actually glad they advertise on the radio--but not during the Superbowl.

We have Comcast for internet. We also bought a Belkin wireless router that hooks into your internet box. I'm pretty sure the cheapest routers we found were at Wal Mart.

I dont think it matters....does it? What about being the old bride?? I'm 31, and not married yet. Been with my boyfriend for 6 years, but havnt been ready to marry. So, am I too old now?? (Gee, I hope not ). Honestly, I think having family is far more important than having it "picture perfect".

What is something you CANT live without?

Coffee would have to be it for me. Also, before you start giving things up, give a call to companies such as your cable company. I called Comcast at one point, and they put me back on a promo plan because I had paid the full price for several months. Just an idea! Good luck on a job search or whatever you decide to do. I had gotten laid off years ago, and while it was very "trying" to say the least, I really enjoyed the time with my children. Dont dwell on all of the bad, life usually works out! -
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (USA Today) -- A 62-year-old Michigan man has been hospitalized with burns after the rocket backpack he built to power himself on a sled exploded, the Detroit Free Press reports The rest of the story This was not smart....

What exactly is this--"girls night out" thing? Sorry, no help here. -
Just darn. I really thought I had a good excuse to buy me one of those shiny Corvettes one day!! Story The stereotype that many middle-aged people get depressed and must perk up their lives with sports cars and affairs may be an outdated myth, scientists say. In fact, these days many people often feel more fulfilled in their middle and later years, data shows. The term "mid-life crisis" was coined 40 years ago by psychologist Elliot Jacques, who reasoned that people's quality of life generally declines after age 35 (at the time, the average lifespan was about 70 years). I love to eat watermelon when I'm dieting. It doesnt offer a lot of nutrition, but at the same time, it doesnt add anything bad either. It is filling, sweet, and juicy.

I do the same with shampoo and conditioner! I get the coupon deals too, so I have a few kinds going at the same time!!

I'm reading Under the Dome, by Stephen King. It is soooo good! Its the first SK book I've read, now I have a lot of catching up to do. Has anyone else read it, and how did you like it? I'm about halfway through..so dont tell me the end please!!

Alright, so I know this is dumb, but does anyone else have to switch toothepaste brands? The last tube I bought was Arm and Hammer, and before the tube was gone, I had to buy Crest Pro Health--my teeth feel so good today!!! It seems if I use the same toothepaste for too long, my teeth dont feel clean after I brush. Just curious!!

Good point. Either way, the bleeding hearts need to go away, so these rapists and molesters can be put down like the animals they are.

Thats right!! I'm a firm believer that I would rather have my children "miserable" now, than for their entire life. My job is NOT to make them happy first. My job is to make sure they are educated, mannered, and ready to stand on their own two feet as they stroll into adulthood. Of course, I'm not a witch, but they dont get free reign in order to always make them "happy". They will thank me later.

I would just like to add to this. Debit cards are VERY bad for things like this. Credit card companies will normally help, but the banks are horribly. With a debit card, the money is technically already gone. A credit card company will go to bat for you much better than the bank will. If you have to make a "risky" purchase, try to use a credit card, not debit.
