I will be sure to watch it. Would love to see a local make a dream come true. I actually enojoy the auditions more than the later part of the show.

It is true, but people normally want to know BEFORE it even happens. I'm sure it was a pretty confusing scene to be reporting at. Prayers for all involved.

Awww LOL My Mom makes it all the time...but she is 1200 miles away. I guess its time for me to figure it out. What does your husband put in his? My Mom only made it with milk or half and half, celery, spices, and oysters. Very plain, I added crackers.

While you're at it..can you make me a stew??

That was VERY funny! This is why I like it as well. A little comedy mixed with some drama. Have any of you watched Mercy?? I like it pretty well.

I know, I was agreeing about not wanting to play that game!! I grew up around guns my entire life, and I'm still nervous about them. I'm nervous about an "unloaded" BB gun!! LOL Wow...my brother and I only threw knives and glasses!!

Thankfully for the emergency personnel if this person does survive (as well as being a bad shot). I cant help but feel bad for the witnesses and responders. It is a sad situation all the way around. I would rather always consider it loaded, personally. My boys have BB guns, and they are to treat them as they are loaded at all times no matter what, NO EXCEPTIONS, to gun safety.

Very sad.

Thank you LPPT. This is truly a mental illness. These people arent just lazy slobs, they are sick with an actual disorder. There are many people who are just filthy, and dont want to clean. Then there are others who get great anxiety over throwing anything away.

Yes, there was a list on wsbtv of the ones that are cancelled, and Paulding is NOT one of them.

I love it too!!

Awww, so adorable!! Congratulations!

Yes, true. Never aim a gun at something you dont intent to shoot.

Recognizing Our Men and Women in the Armed Services
MaineGal replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thats great. I dont have anyone close to me serving, but these guys and gals should get as much recognition as possible. It takes a certain person, and it takes likely remarkable people to be the ones at home waiting for their arrival home. My thanks to the Service Men and Women and their families. -
Thank you! Enjoy your day!

I agree. Depending on the age, I would not allow my children to ride unsupervised. Although, as they get older, you loosen the leash, so to speak. Children do stupid things, and parents need to join together to keep an eye out for each other's. I'm not saying it is our responsibiliy to babysit everyone, but parents are busy trying to keep up. The more we can help each other, the better.

Thanks to those who choose jobs of service to others
MaineGal replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It is a great topic. Oftentimes the hardest jobs are the ones that are greatly under paid and underappreciated. -
I can't imagine losing one of my children. There cannot possibly be any greater pain. Prayers again.

There is someone in the comment section on 11 Alive that is claiming two of the boys have passed. I hope it is not true. Prayers for the families.
-
My thoughts exactly. I dont take it very seriously. Someone that cannot spell on here telling us that their kids are smarter than others. Thank goodness for teachers, maybe they are.
-
For your sake, lets hope karma isnt real.

Oh no. There are lakes in the North that arent frozen enough to be on safely. Prayers said.

Paulding County planning on de-icing roads?
MaineGal replied to EliminatorXR7's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The way I see it is, I chose to live in a "country" setting. I like the calm, and somewhat quiet. I like the lack of major crime. I like the feeling of security. And this is the price I pay. Other than the floods, this is the first time in the 3 1/2 years I have lived here, that I was "stuck" home. I'm sure if I really HAD to leave, I could have managed. I am enjoying my "snow day" home, and thankful that my boss was understanding. If I was to ever get nervous about country living, I shall move to the city!!! -
Also, thanks to any "good neighbors" that may have helped someone out that had gotten stuck, etc. Its very easy to turn a cheek and keep driving, so thanks to the ones that didnt. I wasnt out, but I'm sure it wasnt good. Any help the regular citizens could give, hopefully lightened some burden on the authorities.
