  1. LOL Me, too...but, I had nestle syrup so I made some to go with my mater sammich for lunch!!!
  2. Well, here we go already....The "defense" has a "SURPRISE" witness - to quote from the video of Casey "surprise, surprise" (and I'm saying it with just as much sarcasm). My link Casey Anthony through her defense team has filed a last minute witness that they have just "newly" discovered. This defense motion has alleged that there were four points of contact on July 14, 2008, by telephone between Mr. Vasco Dagama Thompson and my client, Mr. George Anthony. Further, it has been identified through the Clerk of Court in Orange County, Florida, that Mr. Vasco Dagama Thomson has a crimin
  3. My link Lowe said the only way to definitively say who the hair belonged to would be through nuclear DNA testing of any flesh attached to the hair. Lowe said there was no flesh on the hair even though she could tell it had been pulled from a head. Lowe also testified the hair appeared under a microscope to be similar to one recovered from Caylee's hairbrush. "I made a determination that it was similar to a hair in a hairbrush that was identified as belonging to Caylee Anthony," Lowe said. She said further mitochondrial DNA testing linked the hair to Caylee and her mat
  4. I was watching a florida station who is carrying a split coverage - one camera on the proceedings, one focused on Casey - her breathing, her eye blink rate, her eye size - all changed dramatically when the defense attorney was citing the case of the mother who had drowned a child - that there was no evidence of the mother repeatedly dunking the child, etc - may have just changed my mind on the manner of death......There are just certain things our body does that without training like Jason Bourne we can't control.
  5. LadyRaider: I had to take a phone call and mute the sound......did the state rest & will we hear anything other than this poor old lawyer reaching for technicalities (as usual)? If I ever find myself on trial - i do not want to get off on a technicality!!!!
  6. I don't find Baez as much an ass as simply inexperienced/incompetent in this type of trial. Either he knows that he's going to lose and he's doing stupid things so she'll get a second trial on the standard claim of "improper representation" - which is the first thing they all file - or he really is incompetent. He's caused himself so much trouble during this. And, they really will not be able to provide a good defense. History in these types of cases prove that.
  7. I think they're trying to say it's a "memorial tat". George & Cindy have memorial tats'. The defense is admitting that she knew the baby was dead. They'll say the lies were the way she'd lived her whole life since George/Lee sexually abused her. My link George Anthony's tattoo, on his upper left chest, is a little girl basking in the sunshine, a reference to Caylee. Cindy Anthony's tattoo, which is on her stomach, is a butterfly with the words "Caylee Marie" enscribed on it. Brad Conway, the Anthonys' attorney, confirmed to Local 6 News that George and Cindy Anthony got
  8. My link Excerpts: "One of the challenges for Medicaid is that the reimbursement levels for doctors are lower than they are for Medicare, that's true across the country," says Neera Tanden of the Center for American Progress, a liberal-leaning think tank. And Medicare pays some 20 percent less than private insurance. One of the oft-hidden truths about government-funded health care is that it is hard to get a doctor because they're paid so little. The costs of Medicaid are shared by the states and the federal government, but the states manage it. And they approach it in very diff
  9. My link The next witness was the man who gave Casey that tattoo. Williams said Casey made an appointment at Cast Iron Tattoos for July 2, 2008. Williams said he created the tattoo based on what Casey wanted: "Bella Vita" in a "feminine" font. When Casey came in to get it, Williams said she paid in cash, and her behavior seemed "normal," though she was on the phone during most of the process. He said Casey came in again on July 15 to make another appointment for the 19th, this time for a matching tattoo with a friend, but that was not a concrete decision. Williams said Casey tol
  10. We went to several orthodontists before deciding and were never charged for consultation.
  11. Florida channel 9 carries split screen so you can see Casey & the witness. Prosecution should finish up this week. My link
  12. Call here - he's been a lifesaver. Came to the house on Christmas eve to fix my fridge and didn't charge an emergency fee when everyone else said they couldn't make it. Called the other day, he was here in 2 hours. Pate's Appliance Repair & Parts http://www.patesappliancerepair.com 676 West Memorial Dr Dallas, GA 30132 ph: 770-445-4617 patesappliancerepair@yahoo.com
  13. In the Lynn Turner case, D.A. Pat Head did the following: My link He concluded by putting a poem on a screen over a picture of Lynn Turner. The poem, entitled "The Poisoner" by toxicologist John H. Trestrail III, ended with the line, "Catch me if you can." Following the stunt, Berry demanded a mistrial. The judge refused.
  14. That post did make me cry. So glad you had this time with him although I'm sure it doesn't make it any easier. I thank him - and your family - for the sacrifices he is making.
  15. Guess I must be oldschool/outdated. I no longer work outside of the home (looking/interviewing now) - when I did - 14 years ago - I ALWAYS came in early. Get computers turned on, grab a cup of coffee, put away purse, say good morning, etc. I was always there 20 - 30 minutes early. I still think it's good work ethic - at least 15 minutes before shift begins. I also worked a call center; however, there was no tracking software, per se. Management could look at phone logs, though.
  16. So, after posting this about Texas - I had promised my son to go to see X-Men today. 11 people in the theater. Man in front and 2 to the right of me kept checking his cell phone. And, with all the seats available, the management using this little black light thing ushered a mother and her two children in and they chose to sit right behind us. The girl was maybe 7 and the boy was 3 - yes - three. He made swooshing sounds, fighting sounds, yelled "eject" when the plane was going down, etc. I turned to the mom and said, very, very politely, could y'all maybe move somewhere else - and, she w
  17. My link The Alamo Drafthouse has a long history of taking a zero-tolerance approach toward talking and texting in theaters. People who talk or use their cell phones during movies receive warnings, and if the behavior continues, violators will be removed. The Drafthouse’s unwavering commitment to a peaceful movie going experience went viral earlier this week when the Austin-based theater chain posted a video online with audio from a profanity-laced voice mail left by a young woman kicked out of the theater last month for texting.
  18. Don't think so.....I'm thinking we'll be seeing you on the news - carried out with a toe tag - and a nice officer saying something to the effect of "not arresting the wife as this is a clear case of justifiable homicide".
  19. My link A Clayton County high school teacher is pregnant with twins and claims a teenage student is the father. My link A trail of text messages have led to the arrest of a Coweta County teacher, who is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student
  20. Agree with the "personal financial investment", but $200 a month? Wow. Mine are $600 per year. We have massive amounts of greenspace which requires maintenance, the pool, then tennis courts, etc. Plus we have trees lining both sides of the development throughout and the HOA takes care of the pine straw around those and the trimming of those trees when needed. I know several subdivisions where having others "join" has been brought up to a vote. We had a very small (enclave???) subdivision approach our HOA about this in January. Our subdivision tried it before for a 1 "seas

    :(

So sad.....thank you for the sacrifice your family is making, Copschick.
  22. You're welcome. It wasn't meant to criticize you - was simply wondering if the county site had these misspellings. As for your efforts to inform everyone - I greatly commend you. These idiots need to be far away from children.
  23. Question - is this a "cut & paste" from the Paulding website? Two misspellings in ten words. Agreed
