  1. Ok my title was changed from IDIOT to shameful? What was wrong with idiot? id·i·ot    [id-ee-uht] Show IPA –noun 1. an utterly foolish or senseless person. 2. Psychology . a person of the lowest order in a former classification of mental retardation, having a mental age of less than three years old and an intelligence quotient under 25. Use idiot in a Sentence Origin: 1250–1300; Middle English < Latin idiōta < Greek idiṓtēs private person, layman, person lacking skill or expertise, equivalent to idiō- (lengthened variant of idio- idio-, perhaps by analogy with stratiōt
  2. What an idiot!!! I just heard on the news that college student was asked by a flight attendant to pull up his pants which were sagging almost to his knees, showing his underoos. He refused and was asked to leave the plane. (Ok that in itself is idiotic enough) But then he refuses to leave the plane....so the idiot ends up arrested and removed from the plane....but oh there's more. Apparently, he plays college football on a scholarship in New Mexico and the arrest may jeopardize his scholarship and place on the team in the fall. I hope his freedom to expose his derriere to the world is
  3. I didn't understand what was wrong with yoga pants either. Even tight leggings on a little girl who isn't developed aren't shocking, just pair with a longer shirt. I do agree with his post that many kids are being dressed inappropriately for their age
  4. Stone Mountain and the laser show are unique to our area. White water rafting down the Chatooga or Nantahala. Etowah Indian Mounds and New Echota Little White house, hot springs, Callaway Gardens, drive through zoo---all in the same general area.
  5. There's a spray at Petsmart that is for dogs but primarily has tea tree oil in it. It works for dogs and people... I know.
  6. A major concern of mine within the city limits is drug use and crime. Just behind the old courthouse drug transactions happen in the middle of the street in broad daylight with no fear. Even when they are reported to the police, it seems like very little happens.
  7. My wish would be for peaches. Growing up, a ripe, soft, juicy peach was may favorite but is has been years and years since I've had a good one. Those rocks in the stores should not be called a peach. I understand if its not possible. I am up for whatever kind of fruit can be grown organically. There's been a lot in the news lately about apples and berries having high levels of pesticides in them.
  8. AT&T is the debil Have had Direct TV and Dish, they had good customer svc years ago, but no so much now...not as horrible at AT&T, but they go out whenever there is a storm. Comcast doesn't have any better customer svc than Direct TV and Dish but I only pay $10/month So I'll take that option. I pay $10 tv, $20 internet, and $45 unlimited everything for phone. (but internet is about to change)
  9. Tobacco will take the sting out. When we were kids we would run for the nearest old person with snuff or tobacco. They would pull a wad out of their mouth and it slap on. Gross, but when its stinging, you don't care. A couple of years ago I was stung for the first time in forever. I took the tobacco out of a cigarette, put a few drops of water on it, mushed it around with my hand a little, and slapped it on. It worked.
  10. I was once chased down a Wal-mart aisle by a grandfather who was mad at me for doing my job in my former profession. I was speed walking away with my cart, the little old man was trying to chase me down yelling at me, while his daughter was trying to chase him down yelling at him to stop I'm sure we would end up on some crazy website if it were more recent.
  11. I despise the items now that are actually screwed into the packages :angry2:
  12. I kept it off for a while when I went off of it. I did gain the weight back, but it was when my mom had terminal cancer, followed by some other stressful events. I'm a stress eater.
  13. If you are talking about the old FenPhen??? or however it was spelled, the other phen was the problem that caused heart problems. The phentermine on its own does not have the same effects. My only side effects were temporary insomnia (just like drinking too much caffeine) and slightly elevated blood pressure. I don't have high blood pressure so they just monitored it.
  14. It worked for me temporarily. I couldn't handle the whole dose at first, or could not sleep at night. I took half for a couple of weeks until I started feeling hungry, then moved to the whole dose for a few weeks until it stopped working, by then, my body was used to eating smaller amounts so I would go off of it for a while, then start the process over again. Some days I would have to remind myself to eat. I just forced myself to eat a pre-planned healthy meal and was not tempted much to eat between meals. My cravings happen in the evening, so I take it at 10:00-12:00 so I still don't
  15. I never thought of any teacher like that (until college grad assistants ) and I CAN'T even IMAGINE why someone would think romantically about a student, even if they did, to act on it knowing the consequences. I'm amazed each and every time at the stupidity of these adults. I can see how a young high school teacher might still find some of the high school students attractive, but when you're in that situation, you have to take extra precautions that you come across as a teacher and not a peer. Even when I was in my early 20's, and looked very young as to be mistaken for a middle school s
  16. randomness::: When I was in school, I bought a blue pillow sham with a big cabbage rose print at a clearance store. When I got it home the first night and turned out the lights, it had hidden glow-in-the-dark-lips all over it and nearly scared me to death. Not exactly what I was expecting from any pillow case, especially one that looked like that. I was just thinking the glowing dinosaurs might freak a kid out.
  17. BUT if you lose it, lose it big time and shoot for the national news :yahoo:
  18. Are we trading illegal aliens for drug abusing welfare recipients?
  19. Just from what you've said, I would guess that you're not going to get a lot of support from that side of the family unless your daughter goes through legal channels for child support. I wouldn't do any more business or take anything else unless it was an outright gift and involved no one on your side putting in money down. You would think they would be more supportive, but the fact is that the grandparents don't HAVE to be, but his son (the father of the boy)does HAVE to be more financially involved.
  20. WoW! Are you trying to help or stir something up? I'm not sure you realize the way you are coming across. Maybe weighing in on her question instead of picking her apart would be a little more helpful.
  21. Wal-mart lost Sam Wendy's went down after Dave died KFC doesn't have the Colonel Seems like a lot of the big ones were much better off when they had their founder on board. It wasn't that long ago that Wal-mart was worth the hassle. I bought many basics there like sheets, t-shirts, socks, etc They were good quality at a good price. Many years ago Wendy's had a great salad bar at a great price. It was cheap, good, and CLEAN and I ate there all the time. KFC was not even like fast food. It was where you went after church or for supper for REAL food. Now, I don't even consider an
  22. And what about the Democrat on the national news for lying about sexting??? I could easily make a comment about him and Clinton and many others...Guess what??? It has nothing to do with Democrat or Republican. We have a serious problem with ethics and politics on BOTH sides right now. I'm sick of it and I don't care what party they subscribe to. I just want ethical, honest choices and there are so few out there right now.
  23. I agree. I go there now for specific items where I know they have it or found on line that the have the best price. Most of the things that I used to shop for are cheaper elsewhere or the small difference in price doesn't make up for the hassle of going. I prefer the one on Marietta/Dallas Hwy, but I go to the one in Hiram. There are MANY MANY scarier places than that Wal-mart.
