  1. I'm actually ok with him practicing again with the stipulation that he does pay to support her kids. Problem solved!!!!
  2. Next they need to suspend the license of all of those doctors who do plastic surgery on those people who have obvious mental issues and end up looking non-human like Michael Jackson Like this woman http://plastic-surgery-costs.com/ehalpofe-jocelyn-wildenstein-wiki/
  3. Is this the house that sits off the road with the slimy lake or the house that sits right on the road where the tree service is located?????
  4. My dad has it too and its his upper stomach that's hurting, too.
  5. I don't have an Iphone or a Droid. I refuse to pay that much for monthly service for either one. I will say that AT&T is the devil and will never give a penny to that company if I have another choice.
  6. You might feel differently after you have arrived 4 hours early for a seat, sat through the long ceremony, then through all of the names (7 hrs in the heat)....trust me you don't want a pause for hundreds of names. Your child will know your support by your attendance, hugs and celebration at the end, you don't need to yell for them for a second or two to show it. I was driving by as the PCHS graduation was letting out and saw two boys in white button-down shirts walking home down the road with no parents in sight. There may have been another explanation, but made me sad that they poss
  7. Coots Lake is pretty small, depends on what type of boat you have. Its more of canoe or small boat size.
  8. Hilarious No thanks, I want to lose weight to be healthier, not ruin my life...like I said before, there's much worse things to be than fat.
  9. I've lost and gained back several times. I'm a stress eater and that's my biggest struggle. If the worst thing I've done in my life is eat too much or the worst thing people can say about me is that I'm fat, I'll take it. You're right there is no magic pill, but one of the appetite suppresants has helped me in the past. It curbs my appetite and I eat less, by the time it stops working, my body is used to eating less. Its a kick start, not a total solution.
  10. I know he recorded the song first and she re-recorded it in a tribute album to him but...her version is my favorite.
  11. I went for one visit to the one in Hiram and the woman was so rude I walked out. She was wanting me to take snacks to eat every so often at school but I move from class to class without close access to refrigerator, so everything she suggested would not work. She wanted me to pop open a container of tuna in the middle of a class of students or pull a boiled egg out of my pocket...when I tried to come up with alternatives like fruit, cheese sticks, protein bars, etc none of those fit into her plan. She had the audacity to look at her assistant and say, "She's just trying to come up with excus
  12. Maybe just 5 levels, but that sums up these last 5 days pretty well.
  13. I'm not a big country music fan but one of my VERY favorite songs is Allison Krause's version of "When You Say Nothing At All" http://youtu.be/QjsjZWlRVvo
  14. Maybe it happens on Jerusalem time???
  15. I don't think they are the cheapest, but I've liked Northwest Ext.
  16. Very interesting. Thanks for the info. I thought it was a lot more.
  17. NPR and PBS get much of their funding from the government. So they are probably the only ones who would be considered under too much government influence.
  18. What do you mean by roots??? You do realize that the South was overwhelmingly Democrat until the Reagan/Bush years. Deal was a Democrat. Purdue was a Democrat. MANY of our current Republicans were Democrats if they were around before the early 90s. This has nothing to do with political parties. He SHOULD be slammed HARD for this one, no matter what party he picks right now. Don't worry, there will be many other things to complain about with him. He can't keep his slimy, dishonest, nose clean for long.
  19. I know NPR and PBS should fall into this category of too much govt influence. Most have a more liberal lean and Fox has a conservative take, but I would be shocked if they were controlled by govt.
  20. Oh Please...all of you need to get over yourselves! This has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans, Deal has been both, depending on which party could get him the most votes. This is about a crooked politician and not his whole party!
  21. Teen boys and their new big toys are much worse than girls. The craziest driving moments I have EVER witnessed were teenage boys (at least they looked it) speeding and zipping around cars like they were in some action movie or video game. The worst was a boy in a small truck speeding up 278 in front of Sparkles, when he got to the light just before Walmart it turned so he whipped it over 2 or 3 lanes and into the gas station on the right without slowing down and speeds right through between the gas pumps and the parked cars then realized he couldn't get to Wal-mart from there so he got c
  22. Ughh!! I am a conservative (usually vote Rep) and I did not want Deal in office and refused to vote for him. He's as SLIMY as they come. Here we go, doing the same slick sliminess he's always done. I can't believe Georgia actually chose that snake for our governor.
  23. I don't know of too many Language Arts jobs, Math jobs, Reading jobs, but those are all skills we need to succeed in life. I guess knowing the basics about our government (political science), basic economics, important points in history, and a basic knowledge of world geography is not necessary. Voting, making money, understanding the daily news and world events is of little consequence in life. (I do agree that the EOCTs and class credits should be enough without having to take the GHSGT as it stands right now)
  24. I'm not sure if this is the only problem, but the World Geography SS class in NOT a REQUIRED class and the students have only been taught this material in 6th and 7th grades. If they don't take the class as an elective, then they have trouuble passing that material on the test. If a student has failed a class, has to take remedial classes, or chooses to use electives in other areas, there is not always room in a schedule for this class. I've told students over and over to take it no matter what, but this doesn't seem to be reinforced in H.S.
