Very Sad. I feel especially sorry for his sons.

I would make a lot more sense to let students carry and possess in their dorm. What are they going to do bury their Glock outside the door? I would be OK with it being registered residents only can carry in dorms. I would gladly trade that for giving up the right to carry into an establishment that serves alcohol.

The fact that it's full of empty calories and rots your teeth is a good reason to stop drinking it, but many of us ignore that. I can't count the number of things some study has said causes cancer in the last 40 years. The real shame of it is that most of these studies are just another boy crying wolf. They drown out the few that we really need to pay attention to. Another study will probably come along in a couple of years or so saying that this one is full of carp, but nobody will notice. Eat right, don't smoke, get exercise, and do everything else only in moderation, and the rest wi

Hope it all went well. Thinking about You Guys. -
I had it for years. I had to literally get out of bed, go downstairs, and run in place at least twice a night. Unfortunately this was before medication. It got much better on it's own after about 8 years, but I still occasionally have to get up and walk.

PC, with all due respect, you really need to be asking your doctor these questions.

Misleading Haiti Fundraising And they have been accused of fraud in those activities as well. I think that WSB even did a piece on their deceptive practices after the hurricanes.

This will be the last big module delivery to the space station before the shuttle program shuts down. There will be only 4 more shuttle launches after this one marking the end of American Manned Space Flight in our own vehicles for the foreseeable future.

Are pet owners responsible for damage to others' property?

They are liable if there is a leash law. But good luck collecting. I'd just turn everything over to my insurance company including any information you have on the owner of the dog and let them handle it. Unfortunately, if neither of you can collect from the dog owner, you will be out your deductible, so if it's just minor damage, you will probably be just as well off by eating the cost and moving on. -

I understand the importance of getting the word out, and TV advertisement seems appropriate. But advertisement during the Superbowl is a matter of prestige and positioning in your market segment, and has never delivered the real "bang for the buck" that advertising during normal prime time programing does. This makes it a poor fit for this type of ad, since the US Census has no competition to outshine, and I somehow doubt that there will be any media afterglow over an ad for the census. Superbowl ads are little more than a big ego boost to ad agencies and corporate CEO's when the water c

Both Google and Gmail seem to be running at about 10% speed. Everything else seems fine. Are my electrons just scrambled or is this something anybody else has noticed. I'm on ATT broadband right now.

The Powder Springs Post Office takes photos when you apply for a passport for an additional $15 fee. I think that an appointment may be required.

What's wrong is that we had 2 consecutive weeks of abnormal sustained cold, one week of which the high barely broke freezing, and the low was below 20. There is no conspiracy unless Mother Nature was involved. December 2009 experienced 701 heating degree days, 101 or 17% above the average of 600. December of 2008, by comparison was warmer than usual at 595 degree days. January 2010 was even worse at 813 heating degree days, 121 or 18% above the average of 692. January of 2009 was also warmer than normal at 645 degree days. One heating degree day occurs for each degree the daily

I've found the appraisers to be very nice, but as was pointed out, they aren't mind readers. They generally only come out to physically appraise the property every 10 years or so, or when they are made aware of improvements or demolitions by the home owner, or a nosy neighbor. They made an error in appraising a detached 2 story garage on my property as a garage with an apartment, even though the permit clearly said garage. I noticed it the first time I pulled up the new appraisal, called them, and just like your experience, they immediately changed the appraisal and sent me a written conf

Apparently a twelve pack of Red Bull and a 3 pack a day habit will get you 51 years. All kidding aside he should have taken it easy after his embolism, but apparently that concept escapes him. I hope he gets better soon. Lord knows that the boys aren't ready to take over the business.
