I have to disagree with Armymom. Even though this gentleman at this state agency may not realize it I can attest that most courts frown heavily upon an officer even making a case based strictly on hearsay evidence. If he is relying on the code section to state the officer does not have to witness the infraction then I would have to assume he is not versed on the rules of evidence in a criminal proceeding. The judges just do not find that hearsay evidence alone is proof beyond a reasonable doubt and actually I have to say I agree with them. The law has a specific clause which allows o

How was the prices on the sushi? -
They are still pretty loud because many folks still would not care and drive over them pretty fast.

I would not care if they put speed bumps in my neighborhood as long and I am not the poor sap who has them in front of his house. Those things are loud when a vehicle goes over them.

DOT is responsible for speed bumps. It is a long ordeal to get them installed on an existing roadway. You can go to the website and fill out the form under 'traffic operations' to get the packet with all the requirements. http://paulding.gov/gov/transport.asp

I though Beyonce looked kinda shocked myself.

99.9% of damaged mailboxes are punished under state law. The federal system is just not designed to deal with crimes such as that. It is easier handled by the local jurisdiction.

Lucky we were playing Miami where our defense could shut them down and get some takeaways. Ryan was not sharp at all especially with down field routes, Turner was shut down and Elam was missing everything in sight.

The only thing I cannot believe is her reaction....that was an embarrassment for the sport. -
So you got all that out of "But tags are just like Insurance. You got to have them to drive on the road"?

I had my first wreck last week and I have a question or two.

My bet it is two things.... They have a statement from the other driver saying he had a green arrow. The amount of damage to her vehicle seems excessive when compared to her version of events. If she was stopped at the balk line and the collision occurred in the middle of intersection she would have only had about 20ft to accelerate. That should have hypothetically made it a low speed impact with minimal damage. Couple those together and the officer probably believes she was not stopped waiting for the light to cycle and instead entered the intersection in motion against a red -

$11k in damages...seems a bit much if you went from a dead stopped at the light to striking another vehicle in the intersection 30ft later. -
Also...unless the bill of sale is notarized it is worthless.

I think that kind of defeats the purpose....most people are looking for something quick and easy when they cook Hamburger Helper. If I go through all that work it will be for something a little more extravagant than a boxed pasta dish.

There were several problems which caused the backlog. For a long time it was lack of Assistant DA's and public defenders to deal with the cases. When that problem was fixed they found they were hampered by a lack of Judges to hear the cases. The state appointed another Superior Court Judge and the problem moved to lack of courtrooms in the old building to hear the cases. Now that that problem has been fixed the county is backtracking because of funding and undoing the first step they took in fixing the problem.

It said the officer was mistakenly attacked by a police K-9. It could have been an accident caused by an involuntary reflex or a failed attempt at putting the dog down.

People should be honored to have a chance to take part in our judicial system.

Wow....they have put quite a few hits out over the years. -
With all of the important things going on in the world I am kinda sorry that a large segment of our society actually cares. We have more people concerned with the latest reality shows than we do with the issues that could destroy this country.
