Maybe so....however people will make that claim about every traffic infraction until a few people die. Then they scream for increased enforcement as is is now punishment for bad driving. I still think the technology is useful if it was utilized in a different manner which would give the public a different perception.

I wish they would leave the cameras in place and make the punishment something other than a fine....community service would be a great alternative. Many many people are seriously hurt by collisions in intersections every day....however they is not way to enforce it remotely without having the "its all about the money" appearance. That would solve both issues.....however....without the fines no one has the money to run the cameras.

We will certainly be in a better position with it than without it. It is a very favorable area.....4 lane access to Atlanta....easy access to I-20 and I-75 which will be improved in the future with the outer perimeter project.

Airports are not completed overnight. The state pulled the funding to finish the project so the county had to find it elsewhere. That defiantly put the project behind schedule. The hardest and most time consuming part is done.

Yes...make all new drivers take it and make them pay for it. We need to make a drivers license more than what it is now....a card which means you can drive a mile without wrecking. Make people learn the rules of the road and how to drive.....make them earn it.

People normally think the most dangerous time to drive is while its raining. Its not. The most dangerous time is when the rain stops. People increase their speeds as the visibility gets better but the wet roadway still has the same effect on traction.

Exactly....the demand was not there for the commercial developments....hence no supply. There is still no demand....I can count dozens of commercial spaces vacant. Hopefully the airport and the proposed outer interstate loop will attract businesses.
