Toss them in melted butter and spread them on a cookie sheet. Sprinkle them with salt. Bake at 350 for about 35-40 minutes. Be sure to flip them over a couple of times while baking.

Happy Birthday -- I hope you have a wonderful day!! (And, I hope you're feeling better so you can get out and celebrate)!!

I've decided to wait to get the princess's H1N1 vaccine until after the actual shots come out. Maybe I'm worried about nothing, but I personally feel better not giving her the live virus (even a weakened form of it). Just my personal opinion...

Pork chops, mac n cheese, squash, and sweet peas. OR, if I have to work late -- Pizza Hut.

Pay your bills on time and don't open new credit. Also, keep your credit ratios low.

No, this is a fun free event for the kids. No pumpkin patch, but lots of food, candy and games!! :-)

If I remember correctly, a full bladder makes the baby more active. The perinatal specialist I had to see while I was pregnant with the princess wouldn't let you go to the bathroom before an ultrasound unless you just couldn't hold it any longer. Since I saw him once a month while I was pregnant and always got an ultrasound, I didn't mind holding it just so I could see my angel moving around. :-)

Had a bad experience there - I don't recommend it.

McGruff the Crime Dog for the "pawsitively" part.... ? Just a thought. If it's for young kids (Sesame Street age), you could do a door with Oscar the Grouch in his garbage can.

Only two here. No bullets though.

Sounds like it was a fundraiser to me.

I know most hospitals are not allowing children under 12 to visit right now. This is the first I've heard of a doctor's office restricting children though.

And a perfectly good reason not to use or rely on credit cards... :-)

Here's the law: "The authorized fee is $2.00 for each notarial act. The Notary may, upon request of the person asking for notary service, charge an additional $2.00 for providing a certificate from the Clerk of Superior Court of the effectiveness of the notary commission." We've been at BOA for over 20 years - started with them when they were C&S National Bank, the NationsBank, and now BOA. I've never had issues with them. Any time I've had a question, they've always been very helpful and have never mislead me. I think the key to any banking relationship is to know the people you deal with and whenever possible, to go into the branch when there is a problem or when you need a loan or need advice about their products. When you develop a personal contact with the company that manages your money, you have an actual person to go to when a problem arises and t

Not sure if it's the flu or not, but chances are that your doctor will just tell you to let it run its course and come to see him only if it gets worse.

Funny story, now anyway - severalyears ago, one of our dogs managed to get a garage door open during the night and and set off the alarm. ADT calls us, tells us that it's an exterior door and asks if they should notify SO. Hubby says yes, and immediately gets up to check it out. He grabs gun, starts looking around and can see that the door is cracked open so he thinks someone either ran off or is hiding in the garage. While he's looking around, ADT calls back to let us know that SO has been notified of an active scene and they should be there asap. Hubby comes back upstairs a few minutes

That's true - if there are only a few older kids there, then I would definitely recommend it. If there's a homeschool or other group there, I would say to try something else.

Jump 4 Joey's is fun, but, in my opinion should be for older kids, not toddlers. I did the princess's 2nd bday party there - she had fun, but with all of the older kids running around, things were too chaotic for the little ones.
