My thoughts: First, it's a great idea!! I would contact one of the PTAs (or several) and see if they are willing to help you promote this. Approach Sparkles, Chick Fil A, Stevie B's, etc. to see if any of them are willing to donate a skate night or food at a discount and then run with it. Also, if I'm not mistaken, isn't Helping Hands an outreach of some of the local churches? If so, contact those churches and ask them if they will have a food drive to restock the shelves.

What do you think is the responsibility of a christian?

"Go forth and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19 (also referred to as the Great Commission) -
I'm not trying to stir up anything, I was just speaking based on my experience. Best advice is to always see a lawyer and let him/her discuss your personal situation with you. I'll graciously bow out of this one as well....

Yes - and they do everything from "simple" wills to highly complex trusts and estate issues.

I've worked in a law firm for 20+ years and that's never happened....

My thought is this - if you want someone to have a specific item - spell it out in the will. Don't leave it on a separate piece of paper and don't leave it up to the executor. You want your will to be as complete and accurate as possible and you want your executor to be in a position to say that he/she is doing what you wanted without question. If your will ends up being 50 pages because you are specifically listing your bequeaths, then so be it - take the time to include all of your wishes in your will so you know that your wishes will be honored properly. As for doing it yourself, I w

What was your first thought when you opened your eyes today?

Thank you Lord for another beautiful day. -
There is/was a bread store on Hwy 78 just outside of Douglasville. I haven't been through that area in ages, but if it's still there, they will probably have a good deal on buns.

I can't see them either, but my reaction when I read the post was that these are not professional headshots. In that situation, unless you have some really good photos that have a black or a white background, I would leave the picture off until a professional photograph can be used.

We love Dr. Davillier and Dr. Murray at East Paulding Pediatrics.

That's true, but in the same vein, if you make sure that you always have a positive attitude when you're around them, maybe that will rub off too!!

I've heard a lot of wonderful things about the new LifeSmiles at New Hope - it's a small office and the dentist there is supposed to be really great, lots of friends have used him. He used to be located in Douglasville but just recently opened up at New Hope.

Girl - if you've been hurting for that long with no relief, you may be in for emergency surgery! I'll pray for you and hope that your doctor is able to find out what is going on quickly. Keep us posted!!

Paces Staffing has a good reputation in the legal field, but my thought would be to go to AJCjobs.com and Monster.com and see which staffing companies are working in the field you are qualified to work.

Since they didn't do an ultrasound until after the second attack, I'm not sure what my doctor would have recommended, but considering the amount of pain that I went through, I would have insisted. And, if I had gone to the ER, they most likely would have wanted to do surgery. During the first attack, I truly thought I was going to die, I was the only one at home and was in so much pain, I couldn't even get up out of the bathroom floor to get to the phone to call for help. The second attack was slightly better, but only because I knew I had survived the first one. Told my doctor after

Unfortunately, the market is saturated with a lot of highly skilled admin assistants right now. A friend who was looking for a secretary never even had to advertise - he told a couple of friends that he was looking for someone and he got close to 100 resumes. He got a great secretary at a lower than market salary because jobs are so scarce. Keep trying and good luck!!

OUCH!! I distinctly remember the pain from gallstones - I honestly thought I was going to die. My doctor did an ultrasound to detect the gallstones. Once they were detected, I scheduled the surgery because after having 2 gallbladder attacks, I decided that I never wanted to go through it again. The surgeon (Chris Anderson at Kennestone - I highly recommend him) prescribed me pain pills before the surgery, but told me that if I had another attack, they might not work. Surgery was a breeze - I was sore after the surgery and had to take pain pills, but none on the 2nd day or after that. Had

We're definitely getting out tomorrow. Church tomorrow morning, birthday lunch for the princess after Church, then errands and then maybe out to dinner tomorrow night unless I decide to throw something in the crock pot.

I learned that it is possible have morning sickness every day from about your second week of pregnancy until you are sitting in the delivery room (asking for a larger container to throw up in).

Ask the family member to contact the DEERS department (at least that is what the Air Force calls it) for the guy's command. This is the section that handles benefits for the wife and child. They can talk to the wife and tell her if there is something they can do to help provide benefits. As for what the husband does with the money he receives for being married and having a dependent, they will probably leave that between the couple and their respective lawyers to work out. And, tell the girl to get a lawyer - she's going to need one.

Great job Paulding County!! Because my office has regular blood drive, I have been giving regularly for the past few years and will be donating again on Tuesday, Feb. 16th. I've given almost two gallons of blood to the Red Cross. If you don't like needles, just remember that it's a lot more important to save a life than it is to let a fear of needles get the best of you.

Just another reason not to fully trust the local legal system

I've worked in the legal field for 20+ years. Mistakes do happen and you have to look at your criminal history like you do your credit report. It's a good idea to do a criminal background check on yourself and pull your driving record from time to time - especially if you are looking for a job so you can make sure any mistakes are taken care of before you apply. And, if you believe you have taken care of something, run the report again in six months just to make sure it is off your record. -
Nope - the last one I got expired January 19th.

Fortunately, they will leave that kind of stuff to the CNAs and not the volunteers. She would most likely spend her time helping out with activities (like bingo, movies, and stuff like that) or just visiting with the residents.
