Actually, it is very helpful. Since a paralegal cannot give you legal advice, you can't really be sure that you can rely on any form that he/she provides to be legally accurate or to protect you in the event that someone is injured. Your best bet is to call an attorney. I recommend Jeanne O'Halleran (a commerce member)and ask if she can help you.

If I were to lay on my belly, the kids would probably use me as a see-saw so you won't see me trying this (at home or in public). Think about it.... ---O---

Online banking is the way to go. As soon as the bill comes in, we set it up to pay and shred the bill. For the mortgage, it's set up on auto-pay. You can download your bank account info to Quicken and you've got everything you need.

You know, these people announce that they are going to picket in several locations, but don't show up most of the time.

Here's my take: He's your son and he's presumably asking you to pay for it. If you're not comfortable with it, tell him no. I don't buy the "choose your battles" mentality - if you're not comfortable with it, you are the parent, you tell him no. IF you're feeling generous, tell him to take some time to think about it and save up his money to have it done and then discuss it with him. If you're okay with it at that point, then say yes, but still give him guidelines that make you comfortable with it.

We went through this with the princess. The secret is to rotate, you don't get any time together, but you get your sanity. And, keep in mind that even though the wife is home with the baby all day and you're at work, when you get home, give her a break for about an hour - after all, you get breaks when you're at work so she needs them too. This will give her time to shower or just decompress. As for the crying, it seems louder because it's your kid. Babies cry for all sorts of reasons (and I'm convinced that the princess would cry at times just because she wanted to wear me down). It wil

You gotta sell it - he will easily see what's in it for DGITW and his son, but what he needs to see is how it will benefit him. -
Seriously?!?!?!? You gotta give us more than that!

Actually, get all of the facts before you talk to the ex about it and come up with a plan that will give him a few perks too. Will you be in a position to let your son come over to visit with dad during the time you are over there (at your company's expense-or yours)? If so, be able to tell the dad how often this will happen and maybe give him a longer holiday vacation - maybe let your son spend Christmas and spring holidays with him. If you show your ex that you're willing to work it out so he can still spend some quality time with his son, he will be more agreeable. -
Sticking my nose in here to see if there's an update.

Fortified Hills has their weekly food ministry tomorrow night and loves to get donations. During the summer, they see anywhere from 10-20 families a week who are in need (unfortunately, that number generally increases in the winter).

It depends - I go to Publix in Powder Springs (the one in New GA is a waste of my time, they never have what I'm looking for on the shelves). I go to Kroger on Ridge Road because it is the most convenient grocery store. If I need to go shopping at Target or Wal-Mart - I go to the Hiram Target or the Wal-Mart on 120 (the ones in D'ville are nasty). I do not shop at Rite Aid on Ridge Road or CVS on 120 - too many bad experiences, I use CVS and Walgreen's in Douglasville (they're on my way home from work) If I need clothes, housewares, etc. - there are more options in Douglasville.

My hubby served in the Air Force for 22 years. Served in Desert Storm, Afganistan and Iraq. There was absolutely NOTHING in his enlistment paperwork that said when he retired that he would be able to build a house any size/any where he wanted. There was nothing retirement paperwork that said that. So, there should have been no expectation in this soldier's mind that he would be able to violate the rules of the HOA. If anything, 20 years in the military should have taught him to respect authority and rules. I understand the emotional side of it. He has done a great service for his c

You don't have to tell the names of the centers, but I do hope you reported them to the proper authorities (or called the parents instead of the centers).

For all daycares licensed by the state, the regulations say that they have to maintain a log of all children transported by the daycare. Here is a link to the Dept. of Early Care and Learning's website, they should have their regs posted here somewhere: http://decal.ga.gov/Default.aspx

Okay, someone smack CC upside the head - she needs it. Girl, you are smart, beautiful and Tow is lucky to have you so put this pity party up! If he is drooling over some other hot chick, serve him a cold sammich for dinner, leave him with the kiddos and enjoy nice bubble bath in peace.

That's a tough one - I would look for somewhere on the Marietta Square or something like that where you could eat dinner and then take a little stroll or enjoy some music afterwards...
