  1. Sorry - I didn't see this until now - this is the best route to take to Lenox. Traffic in on I-20 is slow around Fulton Ind. but is a lot better than I-75 South. Once you get past I-285, you don't slow down until you get to the on-ramp for the downtown connector (75/85). The connector is usually a little slow in the mornings, but breaks wide open once you get past Williams Street/North Avenue. Take the 85/400 split and you should have an above the speed limit ride to Lenox Road from there.
  2. Unless it's a high risk pregnancy - then ultrasounds are used on a monthly basis to monitor the baby.
  3. It was a suicide - what more do you need to know?
  4. O.C.G.A. 19-9-3(d) simply says "It is the express policy of this state to encourage that a child has continuing contact with parents and grandparents who have shown the ability to act in the best interest of the child and to encourage parents to share in the rights and responsibilities of raising their child after such parents have separated or dissolved their marriage or relationship." It does not give grandparents any rights of visitation - it just "encourages" parents.
  5. Maybe bigfoot is wandering around again....
  6. I agree - I rely on what the Bible says in my giving.

    WARNING

It has absolutely nothing to do with the school - it can and does happen at just about every public and private school at some point. It hit the princess's private preschool last year and was traced back to a very affluent horse stable in Buckhead (one of the kid's borrowed a helmet when she forgot hers). We have managed to miss it so far and it makes my skin crawl to just think about it, but to decide to rezone your kid because of it is just a little over the top.
  8. I've seen this with companies that receive government contracts or are government run entities.
  9. I think it's a Waffle House
  10. I have a ton of their pens, post it notes, and stuff like that - they always throw those little freebies in with their transcripts. I think all court reporters are doing that these days - it's unusual for me to get a deposition with just a transcript and an invoice in it, they always put a little goodie of some sort in there.
  11. Merrill Corporation. Gallo merged with Esquire - I use them if I'm looking for out of town reporters.
  12. Some officer on this forum? If you see someone driving erratically, why not call 911 while it's going on instead of waiting to publish it on a public message board? Think about this people - if someone is a danger to themselves and others on the road, it's more important to report it then, not on a message board several days later. Who knows, you might save a life...
  13. Food is always a popular corporate gift. We've used Edible Arrangements. Also, Girl Scout cookies and Boy Scout popcorn (together in a gift box) were a big hit. Also, one of our court reporter vendors likes to bring breakfast over from Chick-fil-a or will send over a big dessert tray for an afternoon break. However, for your big clients, go with Braves tickets or with tickets to a show at the Fox - things like that really do go a long way.
  14. Take it to the SO, tell them that you are concerned that it might be fraud since the guy hasn't lived at that address in two years. See if they want to get involved. If not, send it back to the IRS - if he filed a paper return, there is a spot to put in your correct address; if he filed it electronically, you also have to type in your address manually. The fact that he chose not to use his current address tells me that he might be up to something....
  15. I've had night terrors - would much rather sleep walk....
  16. Life is too short, get over it and go see your mother. If she lives far away, I can see going over on Saturday, but if she's within an hour or two, bite the bullet and go, even if it's just you and your daughter that go for a visit.
  17. My thought - I don't blame the parents for hiring an attorney and I recommend that all of the parents of the kids involved do the same thing. The Zimmerman's son was charged with a felony and could potentially lose a very valuable scholarship. Guilty or innocent, that's worth fighting for....
  18. I took a nap.... Epidurals are a good thing.
  19. But who's gonna clean up the next morning? The kids are gone!!!!
  20. To each his own... It's not something I would do or participate in, but if that's what others want to do, that's up to them.
  21. My grandfather always said to NEVER put your garden in the ground until Good Friday...
