  1. I work in Atlanta, live in Paulding, and shop some in Cobb so for me to vote purely on what Paulding might OR MIGHT NOT get, doesn't make sense. My TAX money will be distributed throughout the region and I refuse to vote for a sales tax that is flawed.
  2. Most appear to be working in conjunction with the school system, but check with West Ridge.
  3. Let's see, we're voting for a TSPLOT that could raise about $8.4 BILLION over 10 years? Not a chance! The fatal flaw of the TSPLOST vote IMO is that what they are selling as traffic relief is, in reality, a bail out for MARTA and a funding mechanism for billion dollar mass transit projects that only 2% of us will ever use. 52% of the money is designated for rail transit projects, MANY of which are initial phases of multi-DECADE projects. The TSPLOST brazenly commits $600 million to bail out the existing MARTA system, a concept that the legislature intentionally tried to prohibit in passing
  4. Too bad it wasn't a money back guarantee.... My vote is still NO.
  5. Does this mean that Michael James is a plant too? JK is a great guy - I've been nothing short of impressed with him. If Heath planted him, then Heath needs to be worried (as does Carruth).
  6. Moved to Paulding 20 years ago and didn't know a soul out here. Found out a couple of years ago that my great grandparents were from Paulding and used to live right at the edge of the battlefield in New Hope. Some of the ancestors are buried in the cemetary at New Hope.
  7. I've met Rogers - he's a stand up guy with a lot of great ideas and he's willing to listen to more (and listen to everyone, not just those with $$ or power). He has been making a great effort to get out and meet folks, if you get the chance to talk to him, I think you will be impressed. Is it the same guy? If so, I'm not impressed.
  8. Let me be clear - I am not defending her on this site or any other. What I am repeatedly saying is that all of the mudslinging and trash talking is to the point of being ridiculous. That is as true in this campaign as it is in the state senate campaign. I'm a firm believer in getting the truth out there, but I find all of the negative personal comments and innuendo trashy. If someone wants to put out a negative site, have the balls to stand behind your work - don't be anonymous, stand behind your words!
  9. The DOT Hero trucks are sponsored by State Farm... I'm just sayin...
  10. I don't have a reason to call you - I posted my facts (the Order), I posted my source (the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia). I posted them and stood behind them for all of p.com to see. Do you need anything more from me? If so, let me know, I'll be glad to give you a call tonight.
  11. EXACTLY! (And I haven't even made up my mind about whether I am voting for Austin or Crowe in this race).
  12. Willingly or forced, he still did what needed to be done.
  13. This may be the only time you will hear me defend this website. The information about the case with Xerox is true and Paulette is currently in contempt of court. I am attaching a copy of the Order issued by the Judge in that case - I just downloaded this document from the Court's docket. I'm perfectly willing to share this order with everyone so there's no need for me to call. Pubby has access to the court docket, as do others, so it is easily verifiable. P.S. I encourage anyone who looks at this information to think about your vote. Make sure you feel confident that the candida
  14. Thanks! I will really try to make it - hopefully Surepip will be there so I can meet him in person too!
  15. What I want to know is are the challengers qualified for the job? Do they have the same morals that I do? Will he or she vote the way that I would vote? Ask these questions of ALL of the candidates and decide which candidate is going to the best job for you.
  16. The mudslinging has reached the ridiculous. I want to hear who the best candidate for the job is - what are his/her qualifications, what is he/she going to do to help our county... JK is the only one I've seen putting that information out there.
  17. The mudslinging in these campaigns is getting really old (truth or not)...
  18. This sounds similar to the creepy guy we had in our neighorhood last year (our creepy guy wasn't from England, but was from another country and was working his way through college). I sent him on his way, but he knew a lot of information about my neighbors and their kids.
  19. I haven't, but you can also mix a can of pumpkin with yellow or spice cake - it's pretty tasty too.
  20. Try the chocolate cake -- use 1 cup greek yogurt and 1 cup of water to replace the eggs and oil. It's a more dense cake, but it's really good!
  21. I love it when I mix a cup of greek yogurt with Devils Food Cake Mix and about a cup of water. Bake it at 350 for about 35 minutes and it makes a pretty good cake - more dense than the original, but just as good.
  22. Quite frankly, I'm disappointed in the way both Bill Heath and Bill Carruth are behaving. Glad I'm not in their district...

    Did anyone

It is political. The Marshal's office is NOT going to call "neighbors." If they had a warrant for his arrest, please know that Bill Heath will notify the media to let them know exactly when/where Carruth will be arrested. The mudslinging between these two is ridiculous.
