Thanking my lucky stars I live in the NW part of the county - which has seen its own share of growth and increased traffic but nothing close to what it is in south Paulding. Yet.

I figure his point was that it is not just Paulding County. It is Georgia's bass-ackwards 'do nothing of consequence' legislature.

I read in the paper yesterday they are putting serious restrictions on fracking (specifically on injecting waste water into the ground) in Oklahoma in hopes of stemming the increasing number of earthquakes they are having there. I have to wonder if cheap gas is worth what we are doing to the planet.

I have a Verizon phone but it is not an iphone, just a little phone with the keyboard that slides out on back but I would let her have it if she can't do anything else before November and just needs a phone in general. I think it would work with a data plan, I know it has internet and email/messaging functionality, it just doesn't have a touch screen and it's a lot smaller than an iphone.

Yeah there is a really ugly upper respiratory thing that is extremely catchy going around, too. Working on my 2nd week of it, and my BIL was on his way to pneumonia after coming down with it. I haven't been this sick in a long long time.
