Does anyone here really believe there is a politician in office anywhere more interested in balancing the budget and living within our means than what he/she can grab for him/herself while they have the opportunity - as well as spreading it around to their biggest campaign contributors? Both parties have brought us to this point, and neither is going to do a damn thing differently. What distinguishes one party from the other isn't so much the amount spent as how it is allocated.

Ah- I love John Anderson! Dang it. Straight Tequila Night is my favorite -
Well if it does or it doesn't, it doesn't make Trump a good candidate for president. I am really surprised that anyone concerned about our debt or condemning Bernie Sanders as giving everything away for free would vote for a man whose business strategy has been to rely on bankruptcy multiple times. He talks out of both sides of his face, and has contradicted almost every position he has stated at some point in the past.

One thing is for sure, the lawyers will clean up. Tacit approval?!? Isn't there an established process to prevent such actions (meetings, votes, minutes, etc?) There is a reason we have a chairman AND a board. -

Oh, well in that case maybe some concern is in order. -
I think they are doing maintenance at the crossings. The one on Coot's Lake Rd is a rough, bumpy mess right now...

Fraudulent deed being filed on my property

I got some weird mail stating a deed had been recorded in December on my home in my step dad's name but his name was misspelled. I kind of freaked out for a couple minutes before reading the whole thing - it was someone trying to get me to buy some kind of property report. It's pretty sad that people can't find another way to earn a living or sell their product than to straight-up lie and cause worry like that. Maybe the person who posted this also received some junk like that...I just threw it away because I knew it was a bunch of BS. (If it had been a name I didn't recognize, I might -
I heard a report on the news about a shooting at a Kroger at Brownsville but was in the next room so that was the extent of what I heard

Zika Virus........Have you heard of it?

My niece is expecting a baby. Fortunately she is of the generation that doesn't spend a lot of time outdoors lol. Still concerns me somewhat due to the fact that our climate here is so mosquito-friendly. -
Billboards on 278 and the overall airport situation

Um, does that money not pass through the taxpayers at some point? It surely isn't printed solely to give to the government so the government can give it to us? Right. PS-A little thought and the application of logic and reason are much more valuable than the propaganda disseminated online. In other words, I am not in love with the internet to the degree that I want to sit and watch a bunch of videos explaining to me how ridiculously messed up our entire system has become. I know that already. -

It's ALL money we paid in the first place - the government does not have money of its own to give to anyone for any reason... -
While e coli is not good it disturbs me how news that humans are basically becoming obsolete is celebrated...we consider ourselves superior to all other living creatures, often including other humans, but not machines/computers? That is just messed up. Of course, it isn't very smart to eliminate entire classes of jobs and expect to still maintain a consumer economy so maybe we aren't so smart after all...

Quality Carpet is at the bottom of the hill below the red light at Merchants Dr headed toward the Plaza. Corey is a pretty nice guy (if he still owns the business). I can't imagine him charging you for what he considers trash but I guess you never know. Just stop in and let them know why you want it. Worst thing that could happen is they say no, you can't have it.
