  1. Liven this place up! Come on!!! I've been under the weather the last few days. Now, I feel GOOD! Help me out, Pcom......give me some fun!
  2. My 9 year old woke up with a "bite" one morning, and complained of it itching and hurting. I watched it for a day, and put some hydrocortisone on it. It just didn't look right to me. The next day, I called and made an appointment. Turned out, it was some type of bacterial infection. We caught it early and treated it with antibiotic ointment.
  3. My favorite line (after foot pursuit): Perp: Don't hurt me! I got a bad leg! I got a cane! Cop: You got a CO-caine
  4. I'm so sorry! I will continue to pray for you and your family. Many of us have been through losses like yours, so please reach out if you need to talk, cry, vent, etc.
  5. The scanner said that Dallas was asking for help from SO for traffic control. GSP called for a rescue due to a new MVA @ 278 & Vernoy Akin. If I were you, I'd turn left on Old Villa Rica, and then turn right @ 278 to go to the Chamber. HTH!
  6. So sorry! I will be praying for his family. I think I heard this call go out over the scanner today. You just remember those kind.
  7. Subby started his topic about the toaster oven. And mine is something I cannot live without. So list here things that make your life so convenient (or changed your life entirely!) that you can't live without it! For me: Toaster Oven Magic Erasers My front load washer (for the Sanitary cycle) Mary Kay mineral foundation Ped egg I'm sure I'll think of more, but let's hear from you!
  8. Love, love, love my toaster oven! It is truly one of my "cannot live without" things. I use it almost everyday - a few times a day. My regular oven gets used a couple of times a month. I've always just had little cheap ones. For Christmas this year, my husband bought me a nice, large one that is black to match my appliances. He made me such a happy girl!
  9. I had no idea there was this type of program at the airport. How encouraging!!!
  10. What?!?! They could have taken him in an ambulance twice! I really hope he is okay. I can't imagine what his family is going through, or the bus driver. I grew up in Cedartown, and used to work at Cherokee. I hate to hear this!
  11. Paulding Online Scanner I did notice today, though, that you now have to register and PAY to listen to archives.
  12. I just called my doctor's office today for a referral (I need a procedure he doesn't do,) and his nurse personally recommended these doctors.
  13. I think I got it! Someone should be visiting Mom & Dad more. Apparently Hwy 61 would be the road of choice for travel, but Dad reasons that the road must be closed, and that is the explanation for said person's absence. Did I get it? What do I win?
  14. Should I be concerned if more than two of my relatives were on that site?
  15. Maybe it's because I love fall, but here are my two favorite pics of him. The first was 4 years ago; the next was last fall.
  16. For under the vanity, I use a variety of things. I have the rubbermaid drawers (small, medium, and large) which I use for hair accessories, spare toothbrushes, razor blades, etc. I also use the large one to put all of my feminine needs into. One of the best things I learned long ago, was to put a couple of lazy susans under there. I keep deodorant, hairspray, mousse, facial cleanser, toner, etc. on those. Then I can just spin it during my morning routine to access what I need. HTH!
  17. I will be praying for her, too! I know you're anxious, so I'll say a prayer for you, as well. Please keep us updated, and let us know how she is!
  18. We always take a cooler with our own drinks and pack sandwiches to save some moolah. They just check it at the gate the same way they check my purse. Have a blast!
  19. Love that! By the way, E just asked me this week when M can come over and spend the night. We've got to come up with a plan!
  20. Yeah, we did the boxers, too, which freaked my mom out. (And truthfully, as a parent now, I wouldn't let my children!) Middle school was leg warmers. High school was BIG hair, colored mascara (which we often painted in a stripe in our hair) banana clips (YUK!), several layers of "scrunch" socks with our high-top Reeboks, layered Polo shirts, etc. I'm sure there are others, but I'd have to think too hard!
  21. PM, please add my prayers for your Mom. I'm also really glad that you'll get to be there with her. Keep us updated!
