I agree wholeheartedly! And while the OP is talking about what "A-holes" the police and property owner were to him, he should recognize that the cave owner cut him some slack. The police defer to the owner, and since he wasn't taken to jail, the owner probably refused HIS right to prosecute the offender.

Where Bandito's used to be on the square, at the courthouse. It's good. We've eaten lunch there a couple of times!

We had a good time, too! I thought the fireworks were great. There were so many people, though, that it was hard to do or see anything. People watching was interesting! I'm not a big ARS fan, but it was still enjoyable. We had a good time with our group!

Has Downtown Dance in Hiram closed? Their website is still up, and has summer classes listed, but the building in Hiram is empty. Any info? TIA

Gee-Tee, so glad to hear your family and the other lady will be fine. I heard dispatch for this accident yesterday. It was frightening to hear. One caller told dispatch that the white truck had flipped over the red truck. They initially said no entrapment, but when rescue arrived, they advised there was entrapment. I had to leave the office, so I was unable to hear the outcome. Again, so glad it was not as bad as it sounded!

From what I understand, no one was "physically" hurt. Having a gun pointed at you is SCARY, though!

They are preparing for a traffic stop with a suspicious vehicle that is cruising the area. (Maybe a get away car?)

One of our county's convenience stores was just robbed at gunpoint! Deputies are en route. Situation occurred less than 10 minutes ago.

This is such a tragedy for this dear, sweet family. My sympathies go out to our dear friends.

I recently received a ticket. Still can't believe it! I HAD an unblemished driving record! Anyway, today the young one and I took out off the new courthouse to pay my dues. The nice lady took my ticket and went to look up my fine. As she gave me the bad news, I cringed. As soon as she stated the amount, my 8 year old blurted out, "Well, there goes our trip to Hawaii!" At least he made me smile about something that wasn't so pleasant!

Am I the only person who is bothered by all the pictures of people with their tongues sticking out? I mean, really, they're INSIDE your mouth for a reason! Anytime anyone posts pictures anymore, (here, FB, myspace, etc.) they have "gang" signs and a tongue stuck out! Please, put it away!!! That is all.
