  1. Welfare check for 62 yo male at the Hometowne Lodge. Mother called it in because he had been sick and has a history of seizures.
  2. I'm listening to the archives now. Apparently the call came out as a welfare check on Pace Rd for a patient that had medical problems and a history of seizures. That's all I have so far.
  3. Drunk driving is extremely scary. My husband and I encountered one last night on the way home. We were in Woodstock on Hwy. 92. The driver pulled out of a side road onto the wrong side of the divided highway! Apparently, he realized is mistake, so he drove across the concrete median. He proceeded to drive recklessly at high rates of speed and running red lights. We called police to report him, and followed him to a package store. They came stumbling out of the store empty-handed (thank God!) When they left, we lost sight of them, but the dispatcher said they had issued a BOLO. W
  4. Quick, everybody....suck up to somebody else. Naturegirl is no help to us today!!!
  5. The child has been located. The Levi's Call is canceled.
  6. Levi's Call is canceled. Child has been located.
  7. Just as a heads' up....authorities believe this subject is headed here to Dallas. His mother has an address here. They've been talking about it on the scanner this morning.
  8. Yea! It works!!! I wasn't going to say anything ('cause I don't generally like to complain,) but I'm glad I did! Thanks!!! :clapping: :clapping: You ROCK!
  9. I'm pretty sure my FF is up to date, but I'll give it a whirl. Thanks!
  10. In the past, when I clicked on a link in a topic, it opened automatically on a new tab. Now, it goes straight to the link. Can we change that? (Not a huge deal. I love the new board! And if I have to, I'll just try to get in the habit of right-clicking on the link to select new tab myself. It was just really convenient!)
  11. My sister-in-law and her family moved to a Houston, TX suburb last summer. We are going soon to visit for the first time! Between work and kids' activities, we rarely travel, but thought this would be a good time to make a couple of stops along the way. Does anyone have any suggestions of where we should go or what we should do? TIA!
  12. Since this is in the "May they Rest in Peace" forum, I'm assuming you didn't survive your adventure?!?!
  13. Wasn't there a thread about Pickett's Mill having a reenactment tonight? It could be that.
  14. Yeah, we get them, too. I love the way it says that you can't beat the "feeling" you get from carrying a black card. Sure, that's why I carry a card. For the "feeling"!
  15. It's not two words, but it drives me CRAZY! Me: "Put your clothes away, please." 15 year old: "WERD!" Me: "Don't speak to your brother that way." 15 year old: "WERD!" I prefer "Yes, ma'am." But that's just me! And now......the 9 year old does it, too!!!! Ugh!!!
  16. I've been listening for awhile. It's fascinating. Officers were apparently trying to pick up a wanted suspect on felony charges. The man jumped out a window and ran. They've been chasing him, and now have him cornered in an abandoned house.
  17. Do any of you have a real job?
  18. Congratulations, Hornets! :yahoo: :yahoo:
  19. Yeah, I thought about it, too, but I'm too lazy! Send us a postcard!!!
  20. And the hits just keep on comin'..... Just so everybody knows - our SO is SUPER busy tonight. Lots of calls. If you are in the mood to beat your wife/husband, use any form of weapon, get into an accident and flee the scene, runaway from home, hold up a convenience store, drive drunk, fight with a neighbor, slash anyone's tires, break into a house, etc., etc. - would you mind holdin' your horses a couple of days? These deputies are BIZZEEE tonight! Thanks!
