B, please tell him and your friend that I'll be praying for him. I know how devastated he must be. I'll also pray for a speedy recovery, and that his healing will be complete. We can certainly expect God to work a miracle for him!

We just did this yesterday! Ours will be 16 in December, so we called to find out the amount our premiums would increase and what paperwork we would need for his discounts. It's going to be hard, but at least we can prepare! -

I'm glad they saw her. A few years ago, we had to go there when my son had a weekend, late evening asthma attack. It took forever for him to be seen, and I was upset. I finally told them, "My son is dying here. You've got to get the doctor!" The doctor was excellent. After initial treatment, his breathing improved, but it still wasn't great. The doctor wanted me to get to the pharmacy (it was 8:55, and he had called them to tell them we were on the way.) He told me, "Go get the prescriptions, and if he is still coughing, come back and knock on the back door. We'll give him ano

Our condolences are extended to the Nichols family. He was a wonderful man, full of fun and life. He had a tremendous musical talent, and touched many lives through his gift. He was also one of our oldest son's favorite substitute teachers! We will miss you, Gates!

Matt, I had no idea this had happened to you! I'm so sorry! It is scary (I've been held at gunpoint once, too.) Glad we have a mighty One on our side!

Are you giving me permission to print money? SWEET!

Okay, after calming down some, I've thought this thing through. First of all, the woman looked familiar. I started thinking back to what they said. They told me they were from Carrollton, and needed to make it back there today. About 4 or 5 months ago, a woman approached me at my son's school, and told me that she had run out of gas and needed a couple of dollars if I could spare it. She told me she was trying to get to her son's house in Cedartown. She said she lived in Carrollton (I remembered this, because I thought that she really didn't take the best route!) This couple

We had an incident earlier this year that (for the first time) made me consider this. It was a completely different situation, but I felt in danger then, too. After this (and because I am often here without my husband,) it's something I'm going to have to do. And I think I'll put a note on the door warning those who are up to no good!

I did call the police. It was very suspicious. And we have a flooring company. So we don't do cash sales. My thought (and I tallked to my landlord, he agrees because they visited him, too) is that they were maybe scoping the place out to come back later for theft.

I think this is an AWESOME thing for our community!

Had a couple come in the front door of my business. They wanted a gas can. When I didn't have one, they wanted money. Of course, I told them we're not a cash business, so I couldn't help them. They continued to give me a hard luck story (and I really am sympathetic,) but something about this just wasn't right. They just wouldn't leave. I eventually gave the man $2 in change that I had in my ashtray. He had told me their car ran out of gas, but when they left, they walked in the opposite direction of where they said they were going. Again, I don't scare easily, but my gut is tel

A friend turned me onto this website. I think it's a GREAT concept, and just what our country (and our economy) needs. Let me know if it interests you, too! 3/50 Project

Haha.... I thought this was a joke. I thought the "bored and curious" part was something about the coffee! One of my favorite T-shirts was along this line. My husband & I saw a guy at Six Flags. The front of his shirt said, "I like my women like I like my coffee..." Even though we knew what to expect, we turned around to read the back as he passed by. Were we surprised to read, " Ground up and in the freezer!" And I don't drink coffee!

...and that of the 40 shirts the 9 year old has, he will wear the same 3 in rotation!

My husband and I have always laughed about this. We figure it was the "black sheep" of each family. You know, "Let Mikey eat it. He'll eat anything!" If you didn't stay on everyone's good side, you got to try the berries!

I can't even imagine how proud you are! This is so exciting! Thanks for sharing his accomplishment. It's even cooler since we know you!!!

As I was leaving, they were making a Home Depot run to get about 10 more gallons. We ran out before we got the top of the barn. I think they were getting something for the roof, too! It was a lot of fun! Check out my FB pics!!!
