that is where your church family, if you have one, comes in handy.. The lifelong friends that I have made have been through church. If I didn't have these people, I don't know what I would do... I too, don't know many people in my neighborhood, I can really only count 3 and of of those is my cousin......

Community to me is your "circle", you have an inner circle and maybe several layers of outer circles. For me, my family and my friendships that have lasted for a lifetime constitute my inner circle and then from there my outer cirle.

I don't care if they buy alcohol on Sunday, it will just increase the tax revenue if they do!

tabby cat,,, I understand exactly what you are saying... when my grandmother was living, she lived in a 4 room house that was OLD and small... when she was alive and there, I never thought about the house being that way because she was the life in the house. When she died and we went to clean out the house.. it was horrible.. i then saw the shell of the house that she lived in and wondered why i never saw it before. I agree with you that the person that lives in it gives it life...
